I'm trying to like vaping but these are the things that make me hate it. Lol
When I take a puff I get a massive painful throat hit but absolutely no vapor. I don't need a huge cloud but it's totally unsatisfying for me.
I'm tired of having issues with my tank and I've tried multiple tanks over the years and this always happens!
Advice?

Having no idea what you are using (which may be all wrong for you) general rules for more vapor are lower nic. and higher vg, and voltage.

You need to tell us what you are currently using.

Remember also that you are vaping and not smoking so you want to take the vapor in to your mouth and hold it for a second before bringing it in to your lungs. Look around the site and you will see many examples of all the cloud you would ever want to make. You just need to find what works for you.

I looked on their website and I think it's the 650 mah battery.
I have a protank 3 and spinner 2 coming in the mail but it's going to be awhile before they get here.

My Protank 3 and Spinner II setup works real nice. Make sure when you get those that you're using a 50pg/50vg blend as too much VG is real bad for the performance of tanks (and even worse for the life of the disposable atomizer cartridge).
Also let the ejuice soak into the new atty wick for a few minutes before hitting it.

Then you should get good vapor and flavor. No dry hits.

Thanks for the tips.
My experienced vaping brother fixed my problem (at least I hope he did).
He rebuilt my unbuildable coil and only put one in. His suggestion was that my weak battery couldn't handle the dual coils. I don't know if that was the case but now it's awesome. No dry hits and I can actually taste flavor.
It kind of makes sense but every time my battery would start to lose energy just the least little bit, it would give dry hits. When I would charge it back up (which would take like 10 min) it would be better.
The double coil/battery scenario might just be coincidence but now it's awesome...well as awesome as a 650 battery and a single coil tank can get.
He also said that the aspire vivi Novas coils were the crappiest he's ever seen.

We have SS Vape and Maddcatts. No idea if they're chains or not.
I am kind of peeved that the guy in SS Vape didn't tell me that my battery couldn't stand up to a double coil tank. With it using only one coil now it works so much better and is way more consistent.
I should have trusted my gut and should have never gone in there in the first place. I paid $60 for an aspire tank and a 650 battery and some juice. My brother who is a seasoned vaper said he went in there and it looked like they just ordered from Fast tech and jacked up the price.
Anyway, lesson learned. I won't be going back in there. They also have an absolutely no returns policy. That to me says they are clueless and just want to push products but don't stand behind what they sell.
