I've recently been using a LR 1.4 ohm atomizer with my Silver bullet and kick, and find I get a great throat hit, even with lower nic juice. But as soon as I switched to a 2.5 ohm it vanishes. What has me most concerned is the fact that the new atty is a HH357. Now with my kick set to 9 watts, it should be creating the same heat as the 1.4 ohm atty. So wondering why my throat hit has vanished? I'd have thought the HH 357 would've provided an even better TH, but no such luck. Perhaps I'm better off using cheap LR attys for the time being. Any idea why this might be?

I've got an update. I've taken my drip shield and adapter off the 357, and noticed the air flow has changed for the better. I also think it has to do with the break-in of the 357. Like other atomizers, as you know, take a bit to get going. Things are improving a bit. We'll see how things progress. I've heard it can take upward of two weeks for the 357 to vape at its full potential.

I certainly understand that. Hang in there! An hour a week is about the minimum rate your going to want to maintain to keep current after you get your ticket.

I think you need to kick it up when it comes to flying and being proficient.

When working on my PPL I found that putting in at least 4 hours a week made a big difference.

As I mentioned earlier I only vape with a carto when I'm flying inverted. Otherwise I use a Attie 95% of the time. You can drip inverted but it takes a little bit of practice.
