Throat hit sucks...

Ordered some 60mg unflavered, and cut with with PG down to 24mg. Have done this several times to test it out, but so far I cannot get a decent throat hit like I do with the retail flavors. Caramel being the hardest hit so far. I even mixed in some ry4, vanilla, and caramel, and still it hardly hits at all.

Am I wasting my time with this or is this the norm?

Add 5-10% glycerin, it'll help.

Edit: How does the pure 60mg hit? The 75 I get hits like a freight train, so the problem may be the base liquid, where did you order it from?

Try a higher voltage device (i.e. 5v or 6v). While nicotine concentration in your mixing base certainly affects throat hit, higher voltages definitely take throat hit up a few notches.

Ordered a Chuck, should be here in a day or two so I'm thinking that will help. I hit a single drop of the 60 and while it didn't hit hard at all I did get light headed and got a bit of a headache.

Nerf, where did you get your 75? Got my 60 from Eastmall.

Anyone try the 36mg from Best e-cig? Can get 500ml for about $68 wholesale.

Jester - I get my 75 from bliplabs.com, been using it for a little while now and the stuff is amazing. I've used the bestecig 36 before that though, and its decent - the 555 and mild 7 are imho the best tobacco flavors, but a lot of them are hit and miss, they suffer from the same bitter beer aftertaste that seem to plague almost all of the chinese liquids, so I just stick with the U.S. stuff now.

I'm glad to hear you mention "the same bitter beer aftertaste that seem to plague almost all of the chinese liquids" - I was wondering about that. My imagination says that the Chinese juices have an "undertaste" that has to be similar to a tea made from a mix of tree bark and empty 10W-30 bottles.

I ordered a bottle of Blip 75 a couple days ago, and I hope that I can mix up some juices that are a bit more honest to the flavorings I use.

I got 30ml, and paypal'd them. It's a little weird to order from that site. Up at the top, above the big picture, click on "30ml vial", then click on the little image on the right, the one that says 7.5%. Then Add To Cart, View Cart, Checkout, and go through Paypal.

I just went to BevMo and bought a 750ml bottle of Everclear. Please tell me it will help with my mixing because I'm never gonna drink it. I'm suffering an MIA throat hit in my juices too.

Don't use so much, or do half Everclear and half water for thinning. It doesn't take much to provide throat hit, so just a drop and keep adding single drops until you notice the throat hit.

It is supposed to be great for cleaning atomizers. I wish I could get it in Mass.

LMAO!!! I bought some Everclear also to add to some juice and as an added bonus an everclear soak/wash revived a crappy acting atomizer - Hell no I ain't gonna drink it!

I am not sure if it is a throat hit or more of a alcohol exhale feeling...burn or warmth, not a drinker so I don't know how to explain... I also worry is would it make me smell like a drunk LOL! I tried Vodka and now was going to try the Everclear next to see if it added throat hit.

BTW... That 75mg is some heavy duty stuff - Anyone who uses it that hasn't previously mixed with strong stuff needs to be super careful...'specially around kids n pets
