I'm still confused about something. Is a good "throat hit" the result of the amount of vapor the juice produces, or the amount of nicotine in the juice? I'm that type of person where if someone switched out my 24mg juice with 0mg juice and still got a throat hit, my brain would convince me I'm getting my normal dose of nicotine.

I've found it really depends on the juice, and maybe not so much about the nic content. I have 24mg redbull with virtually no throat hit, and when I buy pre-filled 24mg carts for my Nebula (VK, KR-808d1) the pinch is intense. Also, it depends on the device, my 401 doesn't produce a pinch with any juice I use, but the same juices in my Nebula do create a pinch. So, as confusing as that is, there's my 2cents, lol.

I have to agree with openthewell because I use 24mg/ml tobacco flavor from JC, their Original flavor is very mild. I used a cartful of 36mg/ml tobacco flavor from Totally Wicked, also was mild but made me sick within about 10 minutes! so away with that, then I went back to the Johnson Creek 24/Tennesse Cured, and found that it had a "throat hit" for me, although it is mild also to some people, so I agree it is the flavoring, either PG or VG, doesn't seem to matter. So have now been mixing the Original tobacco with Tennessee Cured, (VG) still has a bit of "throat" to it but not as harsh. I don't really like a "throat hit", I guess!
And, I think it makes a difference from one model of e-cig to another. Have been using the Janty Stick with 801 atomizer, it is my favorite.
