When I started this 3 weeks ago I thought I could just read a thread asking "which juices taste the best", then be able to make my buying decisions based on which flavors other people really liked. Well, that has been a dismal failure for the most part, so I've kinda given up on relying on other peoples' opinions when I look for good tasting juices.
But I think(hope) asking people which juices give best throat hit will be a little less subjective and a lot more objective! I just got a new batch of juices from the Plume Room, and I like the Summer Peach, but it seems to have no noticeable throat hit on my Ego with the standard atomizer, which is the best method I have for tasting new flavors because I can completely clean it out to remove any residue of the previous juice. However, I've noticed that 'some' tobacco flavors have good throat hit even on the Ego atomizer.
I dont have enough experience to make the next claim with 100% certainty, but I think that nicotine levels arent the only aspect of e-liquid that gives you throat hit, although nicotine does play a role. For instance the Summer peach liquid is 12mg/ml and gives no throat hit on the Ego, yet I have a DIY blend of e-liquids and concentrated DIY flavors that is around 15mg/ml and it gives great throat hit. The difference between those 2 liquids I am comparing cant just be the extra 3% nicotine that is causing the throat hit to be so much better. It must also be related to the strength of the flavor too.
Thats kinda what I am looking for here, is which e-liquids give good/great throat hit without needing a high nicotine concentration? I dont want to have to increase my nicotine ratio from about 12mg to 24mg just for decent throat hit. If my current DIY blend can give great throat hit at 15mg/ml, then when I mix a new batch later this week I am going to lower it to about 10mg/ml to see if I can still get the throat hit with lower nicotine levels. I ordered the e-liquids I use to make my DIY blend in lower nicotine concentrations so I can lower it, and if I lose too much throat hit, I can always add some drops of my 72mg/ml nicotine to bring it up a bit.
So which juices have you tried that have great throat hit without needing high nicotine concentrations?
