Can you get a different degree of TH from a clearomizer as opposed to a cartomizer?

the main difference i'd think wouldnt be clearo vs carto, but top coil vs bottom coil. Heat of the vape increases TH so the closer the atty is to your throat, the hotter the vape. Resistance of the atty also comes into play, the lower your ohm rating on the atomizer coil, the hotter it will burn, and the more throat hit you get.
