So I'm still having throat irritation after what's now 17 days into vaping. Here's my issue though. I started on 100% VG, caused irritation. I tried some new flavors from my local brick and mortar, with different PG/VG ratios, still having throat irritation. The thing is, when I first started I was using disposable Blu's, no irritation. I still have one left over that I take a hit off of every now and then, no irritation. And by irritation I mean it's pretty much instant. As soon as I take my first hit, it's there. Now if I wait about 10-20 minutes, it goes away, but comes right back on the first hit. When I tried flavors at the brick and mortar, they used the dripping method on a cigalike sized batt, nice and smooth with no irritation. I'm using the 900mAh 3.7v regulated X2 with a matching X2 clearomizer. It's a top coil, so I just ordered some bottom coil nanos from SI to see if that fixes it. The only other thing I can think of is that my body doesn't like VG. Any other recommendations?

Well I think I'm getting close to a solution. I've been experimenting with my inhaling, and I've noticed if I inhale into the mouth then, before inhaling to the lungs, take in a little more air it seems to help. Starting to think it's the heat from the top coil. We shall see once I get my bottom coil nanos from SI.

I'm going through the same thing - some juices irritate the heck out my throat - even cause my lips to swell a little and be numb. At first I thought it was PG but now I'm not so sure because there are juices with PG that don't bother me - the blu and nJoy King disposables, for example. I'm starting to think it is peppermint or menthol flavor that bothers me. I just mixed up 2 small batches of unflavored juice - 1 is 100% VG the other is 60/40 VG/PG. I'm going to try them both out on seperate days and see what it feels like.

Well, I found out the problem. It's my clearomizer. I bought two cartos from my local store, filled one right then and there with new vanilla flavor, and BOOM, nice and smooth. So, hopefully the two nano bottom coil clearos from SI will have the same effect. Hopefully the difference will be top coil vs bottom coil. I don't want to keep using cartos. I think the polyfill gives it a weird taste. Any suggestions on what to do when first using a carto blank brand new?

Well .... turns out that wasn't it. Filled the other carto with my Pina Colada (Mmmm...) and got the same problem. So I've realized it's GOT to be my mg strength. The 6mg was super smooth and the 18mg was harsh again. So my delivery system isn't too blame, it's my strength. Well maybe someone with the same problem as me one day will see this and find a solution. Thanks for the tips/advice guys!
