I don't know. Nicotine on molecular level goes through skin, why not lungs ? What's your source of this info ?
You are comparing smoking apples to vaping avocados. Vapor is not smoke. On a molecular level it is very different. Trying to get your lungs to absorb much of anything from vaping is like trying to ram a mack truck through a mouse hole.

Specifically mt. Bake max vg is doable but hard to handle. H2O is a leaker and you will need strict tank separation due to interaction w pg. I go with 20/80 2from my baker and have no pg reaction anymore. I also use Johnson creek oak domestic which is water based.
I tried ecblends max vg but it was not great.

I'm a new vaper (<--right click, add to dictionary :D) and have been having some throat problems as well. In my case the juice is 80% PG and almost impossible for me to get down. I have another juice that's 65% PG and it's doable, but still uncomfortable. I've concluded that I don't tolerate PG very well and I would suggest you might have the same problem, but you say you have no problems vaping your juice in your tank on your friend's ego. That's pretty puzzling to me... can anyone weigh in on why that might be?

And if I may sneak in some barely on topic noob questions...
My next order from Mt. Baker will probably be either 70% VG / 30% H20 or "Max VG". Is Max VG 100%? Is there some downside to having H20 in your juice? Does it dilute the flavor or thin out the clouds? What kind of atomizer is advisable for vaping 100% VG? I'm using an iclear 30.

OP: I think you said you were never a smoker, so the fact that you are vaping 12mg nic might be giving you the sore throat. you can buy VG at your local pharmacy and get distilled water almost anywhere, do a 50 50 mix of that and see if you get the sore throat. if you dont then its a juice problem, and just add some vg to whatever juice you are using. if you do get the sore throat, its a settings problem and adjust your watts not voltage for a better hit.
