Im getting confused about juice more and more,i just tried something.I have 48 mg VG base nic and i cut it too 12 mg with VG,i didnt add flavouring and i get no TH whatever.Does this tell me TH is based on the missing PG?IM going too try another mix with PG and see the results, for some reason im thinking my nic base is less tan 24 mg.BTW...am vaping 6 mg Tribeca and decent TH,seems like the premixed has the TH and the DIY dont.

Pg is the primary contributor to TH, but nic is also a factor.

By reducing both, you killed the TH.

To reduce the nic and not loose the TH, you would need to use PG instead of VG, you'd still loose a bit due to lowering the nic but, not too much.

Im going too vape the same again, this time im going too make the mix 70 PG/30 VG,if i get no TH this time,im selling all my gear.

UPDATE:

I just did the same mix above and i am getting the TH,so this proves PG plays a big factor in TH.

Update:i just added 15% flavouring too the mix and this seems too add too the TH,so it seems .

Another update:

I just did another DIY mix at 24 mg using 70PG/30PG minus flavouring and TH is very noticeable higher,i conclude the nic is the biggest factor in TH,PG second and flavouring has a factor in a smaller degree.

Good info - this pretty much confirms what I've heard. Nic level is the biggest factor in TH and PG enhances TH. And as you say, certain flavors come into play also, albeit slightly.

I'm wondering about the 6mg Tribeca you were vaping. You said that had decent TH. Is it from the flavor(s)? Isn't Tribeca VG based? I've never had it so I'm just curious.

I'm confused by this too. If I order 2 flavors at the same VG/PG and Nic, the throathit usually is different. Juices with melon flavorings always give me a good throathit..I've never had a watermelon flavor not give a great throat hit. On the other side, I've ordered juices at MBV with 20VG/80PG 1mg nic and had zero throathit.

Yup Heavyrocker, nic is the biggest factor for TH. I do zero nic and I find it almost impossible to get any real TH. I mixed some 18 mg juice for a friend last weekend and tried it to check the taste. WOW, after about a half year, I hate TH and I used to live for it! It's amazing what we get used to!

All Halo juice is heavy weighted on the PG side, they wont revela it because they say it a trade secret ..Id say its about 80/20.Funny thing is i cut the 12mg too 6mg Halo 50/50 using VG and still get decent TH.

Oh, yes... my mistake, Tribeca is Halo. I was thinking of Bobas from AVE. Got them confused.
