you remember/know what is the wire they use in those little coils they send along with the rba base?
If I remember correctly they are a 5wrap 26g 2.5mm kanthal coil. Steam engine seems to agree. Should read .5Ω give or take.

How frequently do you guys rewick? I go through 15-20 ml of 3mg/ day and it seems like I need to rewick twice a week

This has a lot to do with the juice and vaping style. I rewick about once per week... sometimes two weeks One reason I chose the Goblin, is it has a fairly quick and foolproof rewicking process for me. It usually takes me about 5 minutes to gather the scissors and cotton, and 5-8 minutes to wick and clean the coils. I recoil about once every month or two on average. Since I have several atomizers, I usually do two or three at a time, and when I feel like I need a fresh change, I simply prime and fill the new atomizer, and put the older one aside until I have time.

NiCr 80 is for use with watt/power mode.
How many wraps depends on your target resistance & inside diameter of the coil.
How many watts depends on several variables & mostly personal preferences.
I don't care for NiCr, you might like it, no telling.
If your vape tastes like burnt metal probably user error.
Settings, airflow, too much power, improper wicking to name a few.
What do you mean by ''settings'' if I may ask?

So is it true that the higher the juice is on VG, the less cotton you must place? Cause that goes against my logic. I've noticed that if I overdo it with the cotton, there's a higher chance I get a burn hit. Btw, I DIY.

That is true. More VG = thicker juice. Pure VG has the consistency of vegetable oil whereas PG has the consistency of water. It all has to do with Viscosity and Capillary action. to try to explain it in "laymans terms", the thicker the thicker the liquid, the more molecular resistance the fluid has against a solid. That is why a drop of water will flow down a windshield faster than a drop of oil. Since the cotton is a solid, it is using capillary action to flow to the coils. More cotton = more resistance. Higher Viscosity also means more resistance as well.

There is a balance to determine the best amount of cotton to wick with. That is where practice comes into play. It also explains why and how wicking can change during colder and warmer times, since VG gets more viscous when it's cold.
