TI Regulator sample limits

I read something in one the posts about TI limiting the amount of samples to 5 every 6 months. Can't find that post for the life of me now. Not sure if that's the case.

I have ordered and recieved in the last month (5) UCC383T-5, (5)UCC383TDKTTT-5G3, (1) PTR08100W, and (5) UCC383T-ADJ.

I know that the limit is 5 on some of the chips, 1 on some, but I don't think that it is limited to 5 every 6 months.

Course, you didn't hear that from me.

Haven't heard of them limiting anything, but thanks for reminding me that I need to get me some more samples.

You can pretty much order as many samples as you want in each order, but they limit you to 5 sample orders. That having been said, if you go over that limit you need only give some reason why you need more.

Also, to be antagonistic, the company probably deserves a little of your business at this point if you order that many samples.
