Tiger or Claptons for flavor?

So I just got my first power drill and made my way into advanced builds. I made a few Claptons over the weekend but I messed up so many times and wasted a bunch of wire in the process. The result was worth it I guess, flavor was on point. I saw some vids on making tiger wire and it definitely looks a lot easier. I've heard they were great flavor builds so my question is who prefers tiger coils for flavor and who prefers claptons? Also does one produce more vapor than the other? If tiger wire has the edge or is even close I'd probably never make clapton wire again lol. Thanks in advance.

It depends on liquid IMO. I prefer tiger for a warmer/faster heating vape with bakery type liquids, and clapton on bright fruits and lighter flavored liquids. At the same wattage a tiger coil is going to reach temp much faster so if you're using a mech and don't preheat the coil before drawing it will produce more vapor.

Damn. I only vape fruits, mentholated fruits to be exact. I like less ramp up time though.

Because claptons are a b to make lol. Though I do have the El Cabron on the way so I'll finally have an rda with that can fit bigger builds. I'll be attempting my first fused claptons when I get it but I wanted another smaller flavor build to use in my Archon rda.

I ordered 26 and 28 gauge nichrome, 0.8 flat kanthal, and 36 gauge kanthal. This should be good to make dual tiger coils and dual fused claptons around 0.2 ohms,....right?

I'm assuming you've taken a look at Twisted Messes' tutorial on the fused clapton, in which case yes, you should be good to give it a shot.

Once I get my vice, I'm going to take a shot at the staggered fused clapton.

I have but he uses 24 gauge nichrome for the core but I want to build duals and don't want to go that low for resistance.

Also the case with the tiger wire. Can't find anywhere else where they use other gauges or recommend any for a resistance above 0.2 ohms.

I finally got my nichrome in. Just did 6 wraps dual on 2.4 mm screwdriver with N80 26ga/KA1 0.8mm ribbon and got 0.28 :/. I was hoping it would be lower, like around 0.22-0.25.

I'll try 5 wraps. I don't like doing micro coils like with 2mm ID on big rdas like the Archon or El Cabron because the juice has to travel far up those thin wicks.

Oh well maybe I need to get 24 gauge N80. About to try fused claptons next. Hope I don't go through all the work for the wrong resistance.
