Tiki Juice gums up coils?

Hi Guys,

I hear everyone talk about VooDoo gumming up the coils a bit. While it hasn't been that bad for me Tiki Juice which is one of my new favorite capes apparently starts to cause a very heavy draw after being in my triton tank for a couple of days. I've got a good cleaning method in that I take apart the coil [nothing too fancy, just the simple method] and soak that and the tank with hot water and ultrasonics. Then for most of the juices I can just pull it out and let it dry then put it back together and it's good to go. If I'm swapping juices I usually soak for about 10 minutes in alcohol before the water and I usually have a separate tank for my regular juices.

Voodoo & Tiki are the only one's I really need to dry burn in between, but tiki is looking the worst for me. Does anyone else have this problem?

For sure, Tiki is a gunker. One tank to a cleaning, just like belgian and voodoo (which both are not my preferences, but Tiki is great.)

Southern classic I get exactly 1.5 tanks out of a fresh coil, anymore and the juice will darken and that does not taste good. After cleaning the wicks and dry burning the coil, I get 1 tank max before similar juice discoloration begins.

Well this definitely needs a cleaning after this tank. I think I've had the same coil in the tank for about 2 weeks so far so I know that's holding up well. My hot water and ultrasonic cleaning do really well. I noticed the tiki tastes really sweet and seems a little thicker so it might be higher in VG than some of the others. I get serious clouds out of a tank of this. A lot more than Tribeca which I have in another tank. Looks like tomorrow will be a cleaning day for me.

I'm discovering that chocolate flavors, and sweetened flavors, gunk faster.

I came across a sale of an older batch of my favorite horny juice (pomegranate), but the older recipe was sweeter, and sure enough, I had to swap the coil after three refills, instead of my usual 5.

So, cocoa, mocha, and I guess some sweet flavors (depending on the sweetener?), are top candidates for being a gunker. Voodoo was up there, but I managed OK with Southern Classic (maybe because I added PGA to it?).
