Hi folks
I've been analog free for around 2 months now...(haven't had a single one since I got my first PV). :)
So, I'm certainly no "old veteran" now, but I'm not a noob anymore either.
Anyway, I've got a couple of Ego-T batteries (manual).
Since I started vaping, I originally used the atty and cartridges, tried dripping (too much trouble), then moved on to Boge cartomizers (Which I still use and like).
But to be honest, I'm just getting tired of any type of system with stuffing material. The cartos are fantastic for a few days, but they start to get clogged as you all know, the draw gets harder, etc. (And yes, I'm using mostly light clear juices with an 80/20 mixture).
I tired some clearomizers and I LOVE the fact that there is no filler material, and you can actually see the liquid itself and how much is left. But they were problematic. Out of the 5 pack I bought, maybe 3 were great, and the other two either had a wicking problem, or some other problem and just didn't seem to deliver.

So on to the question...finally, you say! :D
As I mentioned before, I REALLY like being able to see the amount of liquid left, and not dealing with filler material, so I was thinking of trying the tanks for my eGo-T Batts, such as these:
https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egt-tnk-all.htm
Along with some of these:
https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egt-att-all.htm
(Or something similar...but you get the picture).

Do any of you like the tank system? And if not, what other alternatives do I have as far as something clear, with no filler material? I just want to most trouble free system. I need my nicotine fix, but I'm rapidly growing tired of constantly playing with juice, blowing out and attempting to clean the airhole in my Cartos, atc...I just want to vape.
In theory, it looks like I want some sort of tank system, but it's just a theory.
Can you help me out here?
Thanks!

PS: I want to stick with my eGo-T and Joye 510 batteries...(already spent too much), so a whole new kit is out of the question right now.

Correct. The tank itself will allow you monitor your eliquid level. The Cartomizer in the tank has been slotted to allow the eliquid in the tank to penetrate the filler in the cartomizer. The slot in the cartomizer is only big enough as to allow the filler to saturate but not overfill or spill into the middle of the cartomizer. Hope that helps.

I appreciate your posting. I am a noob who started with a disposable and got the eGo t, type A. I have been happily vaping it for 10 days. It has been the best for me with no other experience for a trouble free vape. I did a little research then bought it, then did more research wondering if I made a good choice. I really think so for me because I think if I had all the dripping to do I wouldn't have been able to just fill 1ml of juice and vape with no other work involved. I like it and am happy with a lot of good reviews I've read and watched on utube. Best of luck to you!

Hello thenut and all,I too am new to vaping and have endured your dilemma.I use a K-GO which I find to be a hopped up ego clone.I have recently begun using fluxomizers from gotvapes.com I really liked them except for having to mess around with its many-plug system, however I also recently purchased their vortex 2's and although the vortex's themselves didn't work at all for me,I have begun using its nifty little 1 piece cap system on my fluxomizers saving me the aforementioned hassel.I really like this set up and have also found cleaning them to reuse a breeze.I hope this helps you.keep on vaping!

Thanks for the input, intime.
Yeah, I may just give those a shot.
And concerning the Boge Cartomizers I've been using, one thing I forgot to mention is that I just can't bring myself to throw them out! I'll keep vaping off of them and when I finally replace one I'm totally amazed and how much better a new one is, and wondered why I waited so long.
Still, I've got a bag full of used ones that "I might try cleaning out somehow later on". Lol...doubt that will ever happen. :D
So, it also becomes a question on how long I can use the system without replacing parts so often.
Amazingly, I still have my original atomizers...(even though I don't use them much anymore), and with a quick rinse in the sink, they're still going strong. Not so with the cartomizers...they're cheap enough, but they also get replaced too often, as far as I'm concerned.
So the tanks look pretty good to me right now.

(Edit) Thanks for your input as well, WyattDerp, and eso. ;)

I'm in the same boat as you. Very briefly used atomizers- too much hassle, then moved on to Boge cartos and am now using SmokTech Mega LR Cartos. Next step is to go with the tank system. I also read reports that with a tank system the cartos last longer because there's little danger of drying out. Be careful of using Cinnamon and mint flavors. Apparently they degrade some tanks. I am just beginning my research because some tanks are great while others have problems. If you wish to slot your own cartos; here's some instructions:
4 ways you can do it:
hammer a hole using a nail or screw (sometimes dents the carto)
drill a hole (not very good as sometimes it catches the stuffing)
Dremel a hole
Use a 3/8" saddle valve from HD, Lowes or Ace.
Instructions from a Supplier:
"We use 3/32", but we don't think it matters too much on Boge's, what size the holes are or how many you make within reason. You can even dremel a slot instead, if that's easier. We drill 2 holes in Boges, kept 1/8-1/2" above the Delrin cap.
Dual-Coils are alot more sensitive to the size and amount of holes that are used. For Dual-Coils, we use and recommend only 1 - 3/32" hole kept just above the cap level.

As we test, evaluate and eventually sell other cartos, we will keep DIYers advised on what each carto requires to work best.
Key thing is to barely break the surface with the hole in all cases."
Cheers, Vapoor.

You could always try a bottom feeder mod.
All the benefits of dripping without messing around with...well...dripping.

Every one I've seen has a hole to push juice up into the atty and you can clearly see how much is left.
I've tried clearomizers and they all either leak or don't wick fast enough for me and are more of a pain than dripping.
