Hi guys, I think it's time I made the leap to one of the bigger ecig models out there, the ones I'm sure a lot of you guys use as your all day vape devices. Ive got a mega Titan kit and a ego 510 which I do really like, but the changing and carrying of extra batteries and all the rest of it does get on my nerves, it's like carrying around a chemistry set wherever I go!

There's lots of the large flash light style ecig models out there, but which ones right for me? The provari, silver bullet, omega, the prodigy? Etc?

I'm a 510 guy, prob always will be as all my stuff is 510 compatible right now. I'm also a fan of clearomizers and recently switched out to an array tank mod in annoyance at cracked plastic CE2's. Another stipulation is that i Do vape in public. I'm a heavy Vaper and I've never had any prob taking out an ego or Titan for a vape. But a huge, silver or whatever metal device the size of an electric toothbrush? I'm not sure I want the attention or hassle that might come with that?

With that in mind I saw this at liberty flights: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - E-Power
It looks a bit like a giant ego, maybe that's the one for me? I'm gonna ask you guys though, with all of my concerns noted, what large device should I be looking at here?

The maxi Roughstack is an inexpensive option, 3.7v, 5v, or 6v depending on the batteries you use.

Regarding the looks of whatever you decide on, after using it in public a few times, it feels GOOD that
no one mistakes it for a cigarette!! When I vape my ego now, for a change of pace,
it just feels so small in my hand......

Why go big?

The Vapage Vmod is about the size of a zippo lighter.

Has a juice bottle.

The Hybrid Bottom Feeder Atomizer rocks it.

Uses an inexpensive rechargeable battery (14500).

Great advice too!

The GLV-3 in 5v regulated is nice! :)

Nice pic, AG! Three questions:

1. Can you get the GLV3 with an 801 connector?
2. If you get the 510 connector, can you use an adapter and use different attys?
3. What type of batteries are you using and approximately how long do they last on a charge?

I recommend anything with 510 threading because 510 threading has the most stuff.

Or if you are a KR808D-1 user you may prefer 901/KR8 threading which could use many KR8 cartos with no adapter (the slotted center post big 901/KR8 batteries provide good airflow for more types of KR8 cartos - Liberty-Flights.co.uk Riva 901 should have the slotted center post.)

I do not recommend anything with proprietary threading for your first big battery. You should be able to try lots of stuff on your first big battery and have adapters you could buy if you want to try other stuff.

Voltage - Ego has the most stuff but is not 3.7v (but the huge variety of LR stuff for 510 makes up for that). Riva 510 may be a bit higher voltage. I do not know the real voltage of the 901-threaded big batteries - some claim 3.7 but are 3.4. Then there are real 3.7v devices, some of which hold 3.7v better than others. And then there is variable voltage like Provari.

price range - from Riva 510 Lite bundle (2 complete 750mah Rivas) at Liberty-Flights.co.uk which in the US is only $30, to $150 or more for the more extravagant models and mods

Thanks! I think it's pretty cool looking too! :)

Three questions:
1. Can you get the GLV3 with an 801 connector?
It's offered in 510, 801, & 901.
2. If you get the 510 connector, can you use an adapter and use different attys?
I think the 801 & 901 are adapters.
3. What type of batteries are you using and approximately how long do they last on a charge?
It uses 16340 batteries. Either the ICR123's or IMR fit, but GLV recommends the ICR's. I just got it yesterday, so I don't have the battery life yet. It's a 5v GLV with the juice attachment, so it will be the same as the standalone device.
