So, I found that I like voodoo with a kringles curse kicker. Well, after a few days about 5 refills I decided that it's time to clean. Tell me what you all think, is it time to swap out the coil? Oh buddy, that voodoo would make mud dirty! But it's so dang good with that KC kicker. Thanks for your help Halons! View attachment 297599View attachment 297600

I can't say for sure, but that's worse than any scorching I have seen on my wicks. If it were me, I'd replace it.

Since I haven't had to change one yet I can't help you really. My opinion would not be based on experience. But when I get there I'm first going to try sliding the coil wick over off that spot and the flavor wick over the other way. So both wicks will be longer on opposite sides.

Sorry if that don't make sense cause I'm still not woke up good yet.

I agree with Evie. Just slide the burn spot off the coil. And 5 refills of VooDoo is pushing it! That'd be like going 15,000 miles without an oil change!!

Yea, move the wicks, uneven shouldn't affect anything.

(sort of like avoiding the wet spot...)
The left over juice looked like what 15,000 miles would do to oil too.

That's what I do. Try yanking the wicks when they are totally dry, just enough to clean the blackness out of the burnt spot.

Or like shuffle said, they are only $2.50.

I have a leaking tank, I can just used the coil out of that one. I do have a 5 pk though.

Is it leaking past the wicks? Or somewhere else?

If the wicks are frayed or missing, it's easier for juice to bypass the condom that sits over the unit. (go on?....)

It's a bit tricky to re-thread the bottom wick through the coil.

I always have spare coils on hand, they are the lifeblood of the system.

It leaks where the plastic meets the metal threading to attach to the Batt. when the manufacturer glued those pieces together they got lazy and missed a small spot. It slowly leaks, over night I'd have a juice puddle.

I'd repost them but I tossed it. Just imagine nice, white wicks and someone taking a sharpie to the center. Voodoo, is like GOLD in a tank!

Fixed and your correct! Ok, I guess when I have a tank of VOODOO, I must vape it way to fast to do anything to my wicks. It rarely gives me burnt spots or gunking unless I increase the volts too much and hot box my VV or if I reload/top fill too many times without cleaning.

The one juice I have found to really gunk up a coil and quick has been Belgian. I can't get through a full tank without it clogging up with Belgian. And I couldn't see your pics for some reason.

I haven't filled up a Belgian tank since I cleaned the last one out! No problem, though, figuring out which tank to use, even though they were washed in hot water and soaked overnight in vodka - just sniff the wicks and tanks, and voila - that must be the Belgian tank LOL

You don't use tritons though, you have a tank hooked to a car battery. Vapes at 12 volts! It burns really fast!

I can't find the thread where someone suggested 50/50 Belgian/Tribeca....but I just tried it. It's like a candy bar - not sure if that's a good thing, but it's certainly like the real thing LOL Might try it again after dinner - I feel as if my Tribeca has been polluted LOL

That was me haha reminded me of a brownie
