I'm about to go in a different direction due to burnt tastes (everyday) using Tribeca.

At half tank is when I usually get it. Tried everything including dry hitting it, replacing tanks, cleaning, etc....

Think I'll go with a bottom coil solution and try that. Too bad only one bottom coil tank fits the Triton...that I could find.

Don't do that! The ONLY reliable tanks I have used, and I've used lots, are the Tritons. I have BCC tanks - they leak, burn, give me no end of trouble. Try a different Triton tank - maybe it's the tank? I've had Tribecca in two of them for literally weeks, and it's a perfect vape, even when it's almost empty! Other than Triton tanks I use cartotanks on a different setup - I have a drawer full of bcc tanks that I only pull out to try new juice sometimes...

try switching flavors sometimes the ry4 flavor types can cause build up also you can try a plain pg or vg burn I generally rinse it coils with water blow them out pat them dry do a quick dry burn then a burn with just pg or vg and add new juice and off you go. Also rinsing with water after a dry burn gets water in again which is not what you want if you dont have plain pg or vg just use a drop or two of your eliquid to prime the wick before reassembly.

Yeah I've tried multiple tanks and same issue with burnt wicks.

Many Triton users vape the Tribeca without problems. It's almost as if the triton was designed for tribeca.

So the only variable left is you. I see you only quit recently. Are you vaping like you were smoking? You cannot hit it 8 times in 2 minutes like a cig with long hits. It's overheating. Especially when it gets to below half tank. Less juice = less mass and will heat up even faster. Is your tank getting really hot?

Take no longer than a 5 or 6 second hit. Then put it down. Don't hit it again for at least a minute. Its been said it takes 15 to 20 minutes to get the equivalent of a cig. I think that's bs and way subjective, but it does take longer.

Please, try it like I suggested.

I use Longhorn, which is amazing. It's true, I vape like a mad man for a minute and vapor diminishes significantly. Give it about 10 minutes, works like a champ.

Yes it does get warm and I do like to hit it a few times but come on, you should be able to. 15 to 20 minutes is unrealistic in my book.

I forgot to add that on newly charged batteries, it will definitely smoke a wick if I forget and hold it too long.

I decided tonight to pick up a ProVari mini and try the ProTank 2 with an air control base. I like the fact you can build your own coils and wicks. Bottom coil so maybe it will be cooler...dunno but fun trying.
