Time for a new GG

I noticed today that after 2 years of being my sole pv my GGSS is breaking where the carto is screwed on. (sorry don't know the technical term for it)


It is time for me to replace it, and ASAP ! What GG is on the market now that is similar to the GGSS? I don't care about shape, just concerned about similar voltage. I am so out of the loop because I haven't even bothered to keep up with pv's over the years because I was so happy with my GGSS.

That would be nice, if I could buy just that part it would be cool too! I ordered a zmax to get me through until I figure something out. I'm going to miss my GGSS. DEFINATELY want another GG sometime soon.

You should pm Imeo, seems your situation is what the lifetime warranty is all about, only he could make that determination though.

I think that you described the connector. Can you please post a photo with the faulty part? Is your GGTS an aluminium one?

It is a GG Super Slim, not sure if it is aluminum? I will take and post a picture later today when I change the carto. I don't want to fiddle with it too much and have it snap off. My backup hasn't been delivered yet and I would hate to break it before that gets here.

So you have a problem with connector. Is it an 901 connector?

2 years old, it's definitely a 901 connector. depending on where/ how exactly the connector is broken (like if it's the pin), a cheap 901-808 connector could still make the contact and provide at least a temporary solution.

Bad news, and good news...

Bad news is that it finally snapped apart, good news is I remembered I had a GG slim. I completely forgot about the slim as it has been packed away since I moved over a year ago. I took the top piece off the slim and it works on my Super Slim so it will keep me from committing any felonies due to nicotine withdrawal.

Ok here are the pictures, had to change computers. I use 808 cartos on it.

In the first pic you can see the threads are what snapped. They are still threaded in the carto, that part is hard to see.
The second picture, the broken one is on top. The lower one is the same piece from my GGS.


Imeo, if you are still able to make just that one piece I would like to buy a replacement. I think it just rusted or got dropped one too many times. I am happy to pay for it, I have used this same GGSS everyday for over 2 years so it has gotten A LOT of wear and tear. I have been so happy with it. I am so glad I remembered I had a Slim and the part was interchangeable!

That's awesome Imeo!!! My wife is vaping a GG slim 1st run with that 901/808 brass connection also. She loves it because it is so small and light, and just carries extra 10440 batts in her purse and uses 808 cartomizers on it.

I am soooo paranoid she will wear it out or break it. Hearing you only have 2 pieces left is not comforting But seeing you honor the warranty is
