Time for the new 510

This morning my LP/SL TRA Grand was leaking, and I was going to tighten the feed tube nipple, and it snapped. Actually it snapped as I was taking off the feed tube.
Soo, took it all apart, washed it out, and will be sending it off today for a new 510 to be installed. The only thing I am sending is the main body, every thing else I have and is in good shape. Sniff, sniff, I will be missing it while it's gone.

I just got my LP TRA back yesterday. The rebuild comes with the new 510, leaf contact, bottle and tube, and spring and button if needed. My spring and button were fine and didn't need replacement. I have 2 more to go, but I'm only going to send in one at a time.

Well if it is my 2 pence worth (or 2 cents).....I don't have to worry about juice dripping down the delrin, you know the place that catches the top of the door too?

Forget about the rubber inserts too, I only seem to get a juice mop when I over squonk. I get more juice in the well with a rubber insert.

With regards to the durability of the new 510's insert I launched mine on a stone floor, it broke the delrin mouth piece in half and the other half was still in.
I picked it up and gave a draw and all was good.

It is an awesome piece of kit.

I need to get another reo so I can practice throwing them, running them over and other assorted mischievousness (mis-spelled word of the day). I think we need to get super X to do a jackass show where he takes a REO and just completely destroys it and then washes all the junk out of it and gets a cold one, er...a nice warm cup of coffee and enjoys a good vape afterwards.

Been noticing a little leaking as well on my beloved Mini as well. Also thinking about having it LP'd too. Wonder if that would add extra time that she would be away?
What is the procedure for sending in? I understand the cleaning and removing bottle, battery etc.

I included a note stating what I wanted done, and all my contact info, including ecf screen name. I removed everything to re-install myself when it gets back. I will be getting just the 510, and new positive contact.

It sure does help. I bet after Rob does his magic, he then emails for payment? Good thinking about the ECF screen name too.

Too funny. I was going to do a similar video and would enjoy the hell out of it (Rufus Durden would handle this one) but many REOnauts would not appreciate seeing Robs work abused.

But many people would like to know and the video would only made to show what a REO can handle - not to disrespect the REO. So maybe it's time for me to do this vid eh? The griffin survivor folks did it with an iPhone in their case.

Heck, I might just use My oldest mod - my beloved BMF #1 for it. It's already a lil scratched. But that's it. And it just happened. I'll give it some thought. And that's the only way I'll do it. So anyone thinking of sending me one, I recall the offer. I will use my own if I decide to do it. It'll be a piece of my vape history

Just so ya'll know, I just beat the shizz out of a grand and it worked perfectly after. I didn't film it though. Just kidding . I filmed it and hope to have it up tonight - new SSD is being installed right now or id put it up now.

Any doubts about 510 durability shall be banished by this vid

I have 3 REOs and am sending one to Rob to upgrade Monday (it's Saturday here). Also one of the magnets in the door is gone (not sure how) so I'll ask him to put a new one in as well

I mailed my 1st Reo to Rob yesterday for the upgrade. I am so glad I had more than 1 so I don't have to be Reo-less at any point. As soon as my 1st one makes it home, then its buddy will take its trip to the Reo spa. Anyone happen to know how much the upgrade costs?
