Well after a bit of a wait due to pre ordering and an issue with the starbrite orange copper powder, order #601 has left the building! Looks like it should be here Wed or Thurs.

I'm actually getting a pair of Mini GLV-2

One is Starbrite Orange Copper all over and the other is Black Stardust caps with a Black Lava body!!!!

I'm not sure which will be which... but one will wear my MAP tank for home use and the other an XL CE2 carto for traveling.


Many pictures to come once it lands... there has been a distinct lack of pictures of new GLV-2s.

Just bluntly stating my wait time would be unfair to Jay and Sara...

I ordered it Dec 22nd knowing that the 'parts' weren't being ordered from the shop until the first week of Jan. They were received from the shop 1/19ish. If I hadn't wanted powder coated caps, they would have shipped on the 25th like some of the others did. There was an issue with my orange color and it was twice 'not good enough to sell'... unfortunately that ran them out of my color. A supply order came, mine was successfully finished and shipped today

I was so impressed with the communications and vibe from them that somewhere in the middle I added a second Mini to my order (my OCD generally demands I do things in pairs ).

Mini initial review...

for starters thanks again to Jay and Sara, they have been a joy to deal with and they make some great looking and feeling products.

My 2 gray Ultrafires don't fit, but the 2 blue ones I have fit fine... my BML IMR fit fine as well. I did pick up 4 of the recommended AW protected from another source because Jay was out of stock... and of course they fit perfectly too.

These things actually hit hotter then either of my other 2 mods... same carto and battery in either Mini GLV-2 has noticeably more hit and a slightly stronger flavor than the same carto and battery swapped into both my other mods. The switch feels great and the ergonomics of it are exactly as I assumed it would be.

They both look amazing... can't say which I like better! I think it's going to be a day to day thing

Just finishing of the end of day #2... I cannot get over how much these blow away my other stuff. Kinda feels like when the wife lets me use the Volvo V70 instead of my beater 89 Corolla
