Time to tell the truth

My wife and I were saved many years ago and to this day are devot Christians. A day does not go by without us think about God, Thanking God, and Praising God for who he is and what he has done to us in our lives.

For many years, we have tried to minister to our family and close friends about God, Jesus and being saved. For all the ministering, most of it just fell on deaf ears and all we can do was pray for our families.

This past Thanksgiving, God spoke to me and told me it was time to tell the my family the truth whether they agreed to it or not, whether they get offended or not. It was time for me to put my foot down and to look them all in the eye and say it!! Yes say it!! There is only one place for those who do not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and Almighty God as their father and that is :evil:HELL

Before Thanksgiving Dinner, I gathered everyone in the Living room and gave 30 minute preaching. As I spoke everyone looked at me like I was crazy. My sister even got upset because she was Hungry. But I let them all have it!!

In love, I told my entire family that I felt very guilty knowing that many of our family members that have died will never get to heaven because they never accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I explained to them that praying for their souls after they have died is not good enough, being a good person and doing good deeds is not good enough. The only thing that can get you into heaven is JESUS and we must accept him as our Lord and Savior. We all must be born again in Christ with open hearts and repent our sins. Hell, is not a good place to go to.

I feel convicted that I never made it my business to save those in my family that have passed, but this time I made it my business to save those that are still around and it started on Thanksgiving.

I know my family pretty well and they live by sight and not by faith. Another 30 minutes was dedicated to prooving to them just how wrong they are by not living by faith.

When it was all said and done and the dust cleared, they were all saved.

My message to all members here is not to wait until it's to late to save those that we love, family and friends, from being saved. If we don't save them, if they do not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, folks, they are going to Hell. As difficult this may be for many of us to swallow, it is the truth.

We are at the end of days here. Let's not wait till the last day or worst yet, the day after, to do what we can do today.

It's time to tell the truth.

WTG, Blue Knight!!!! I am glad that you heard and answered the calling. I think it's harder to witness to family than strangers. It shouldn't be, but it is. Did they all get saved that night, Blue? I am applauding you.....you just can't see it. My hat is off to you!

Hey, I've got this nephew...........he needs prayer, badly.:(

This is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!! It sure is time to tell the truth, there isn't much time left! To love someone means to be honest with them, and tell them the truth. There isn't anything more loving then that.

For those of you who don't know, Blue Night Max is the person who started this group in the beginning. Then he handed it over to me a while back, but we all have him to thank for our being here enjoying eachother everyday. Well, him and GOD! LOL!!!!!!!

Stick around Max, or come back more often, it's always GREAT to see you brother!!!!!

I've spoken to my family multiple times (those who aren't saved yet). But you can't beat someone over the head with the gospel and get them to accept it. I pray for them, and that's all I can do. (and it seems to be working on some of them.)

I applaud you Blue Knight Max on evangelizing your loved ones and winning them to the Kingdom!

My 'Family' are all believers so I've been blessed. Without many of them I wouldn't be the believer I am today... Thank-you Jesus.

There are a few 'strays' as in all families, and I witness to them endlessly, but like Chimney I've given the ones that remain up to God and I remain steadfast in prayers for them.

Time is running short and this message is timely.
