I went through that some time ago (Gawd can nostalgia get in the way)
I got it down to three easy to make flavors, but then it took 6 mods to use them.

This is getting all to complicated for me, and time consuming. Man, I didn't realize that this would be so difficult. I have 18 different mods in use with as many different juices, a mix of diy, and ready made juices. I had hoped to get the rotation down to about 5 or 6 devices, but that is not going well, as it seems it's going to be about 9 devices. I keep looking at all of them, then I'll see another, and think, well, what about this one. Hopefully I can hold it to 9 devices with the mix of diy and ready made juices.
I'm not ready to quit vaping, just make it simpler. Well, back to it.
Back away from the forum! You might contaminate me into thinking I need Less!!!!

Sorry.. had to take a drag there....

    Those are FANTASTIC !!!!
My dad always wanted to get into model trains and he tried to get my brother into it, but it never took off.
I LOVE trains and models of planes, ships etc. but he figured that I was a girl and never thought to share that with me.

I love detailed things, and I could see me going nuts if I got into the hobby.
I do have a nice Playmobile train set, complete with circus, farms, etc. I chose that one for my sons and I because its tracks are compatible with the real model trains. Its simple and geared for young ones, but real enough to be fun.

We never had a real home, so we would set it up in our family or living room, but life always got in the way and never let us really have it set up. One does need a whole room or basement or attic.

    Enjoy !!!!

The N-gauge stuff he's doing is is great if you have limited space. It's just about the smallest you can get.
You can make a really nice layout on a single 4'x8' sheet of plywood

    lol,, i feel weird. 1 mod/1 tank and 1 juice 24/7/365,,,,,, i do own 2 of 2 dif mods styles (4.5 picos & 2 mechs) + 1 pico squeeze ,,,2 main atty's griffin & avocados. (i think i have something like 5 or six dif non-tank attys for back up +1 corolla)

i dont count kanger products since i cant count on them to work,, i have about 4 i think

all of my vape mods/tanks fit in a 'small zippered' book like thing in my bug out backpack. i feel like i own too much

I understand the madness... I want to go down to 4 set ups... I think that might simplify my life... Oh, I have many more than that.....that is my problem... if I pack them away, little by little they come back out. Since 90% of them now are RTAs they require fiddling time.

I see a lot of vapers with just 1 set up and you know what?... I'm jealous.. they love that device that keeps them from smoking. I remember my first Set up, Nautilus mini with my 20w iStick. That was the coolest thing ever. I miss that feeling. Buy one bottle of juice at the shop, vape it and then look forward to the next trip to the shop and wonder what flavor will take you through the next week.... having multiple set ups and having tons of juice at your disposal to fill multiple tanks kinda takes away of the fun sometimes.

I see it in shops, the true fun of someone picking out there juice for the week, picking out that one flavor journey to enjoy till the next week comes.

I know a guy who owns one setup. A Wismec Ruleaux 2/3 with a Crown III tank, and he vapes one flavor--american tobacco, 6mg, DIY.

I ask him, "what about a backup?"

"It's at the store," is his reply.

I don't get it... shinyitis immunity?

I need to thin out the number of juices and use it up before I can start thinning things out.

    No fun in that......

Every batch is different other than the 3 on the far left that got cropped: that is my roomies diy western tobacco menthol, the only flavor she will vape. All the rest is for me for the next 4 to 6 months + a 500ml kitchen sink dump bottle (all sorts of recipes mixed together) out of view.

I dunno.............you all had me at vape valet. Where can I get me one??

    Get married.

I regularly charge my husband's batteries and fill his tank for him so he doesn't have to worry about it and in the beginning of my husband vaping he would go to bed at night then in the morning he would wake up to a full tank and a fully charged battery.

Well, one morning early on I was on the phone with my son when my husband woke up, and my husband noticed his tank was full and his battery charged and said "the vape fairy has been here in the night again, because my tank is full and my battery charged"

I said yes, she was here while you slept. My son then piped up saying "I want a vape fairy! The vape fairy doesn't visit me!"

Hahaha.. now, my husband told him that he has to live in the hills if he wants a vape fairy, because fairies only live in these here hills, but I'm betting if you get married you could find you lucked into vape fairy too!

    Hahaha

Yes, and I do have another hobby that has gone ignored to long. I have been wanting to do another model railroad set up, and now I have decided to take that on. Over the last 6-7 years vaping has just taken over, now it's time for it to back off a little. :)

I second the poster who mentioned that if you just get back into your train hobby the vaping conundrum might just take care of itself.

I'm weird in that I found a flavor that works for me pretty much all the time, so I rarely change flavors therefore don't need a bunch of tanks around. I end up with only two mods in rotation as a result.

Some people cannot do that, or cannot find that one flavor that just works for them no matter the time of day or occasion.. but as someone else said, maybe try some unflavored for a while, it might be pallet cleansing at least, then when you get back to your flavors you can find that one or two, or 6, that you can live with.

When taste sampling we need a pallet cleanser between items in order to properly taste and appreciate the next item.. but we don't find many people doing that with vaping, and in some ways might distort how we are tasting the next flavor - hence an endless chase.

Might be good to use unflavored as a pallet cleanser.

I have 9 now in my current rotation. 1 mech RDA for tasting and then a Pico as my stealthy pocket mod for work. 2 Battlestars as my daily Drivers for out and about and 3 Charon 218s for desktop rotation, plus an Ijoy captain and Capo also in rotation and a Dual Pico on the way, just because it was so cheap. I only have 3 DIY Flavors that I mix on a regular basis so I usually know which mod or in what tank they are on. Since I suffered massive mod failure of several devices from July thru August everything except my Mech and little pocket Pico is new. my theory is that if I keep several mods at the ready where they get semi-daily use, then one or 2 mods won't get heavy use, so I can avoid future massive mod failures.

    What works for me.
1 x mech squonker & atty, bottle filled with unflavoured juice. When I fancy a change in flavour, I just drip a few drops instead of squonking the unflavoured. Most of the time I am on unflavoured now as I generally prefer it, but i do get a bit bored of it sometimes!
I am vaping a lot less, not spending loads of time mixing, rebuilding or searching for the next must have device on the net.
Instead I waste my time on my other hobby..... Unfortunately it's more time consuming and expensive than vaping...
