Hi all,
I usually lurk on here so I don't post much. My original set-up was a 1100 mah Vision Spinner with Kanger Pro tank 3 combo. The Pro tank crapped out, and now I am using some crappy no name brand Mistkettle clearo, which I think is actually just a rebranded ce4, iclear16 type, tank. I need an upgrade.

-I have narrowed down my decision to either the Innokin iTaste VV 3.0 or an Innokin iTaste MVP 2 for the battery, suggestions on other mods welcome.
-Looking for thoughts on the best/any 510 threaded tanks.

you need to chage the atomizer coil.

I have both of these, and they are awesome devices. The MVP 2.0 is heavy, and definitely an easier vape when at home. The itazte vv v3 is fantastic, has great lasting power (and I am a chain vaper). For tanks, I use either Kanger PT 2 or PT2 minis. I just bought an reo, however, and I can already tell that I am going to have a lot more of those in my future. The smaller ones are great, transport & taste wise. The reo for me brings it to a whole other level of awesome.

For the protanks, you can change out the atomizer coil, or you can build them (although they are small, tight little buggers)

Check out the Cana Modz! BEST VARIABLE WATTAGE DEVICE ON THE MARKET FOR THE PRICE. Extrememly high demand but so worth it. Its the clone of the Hana Modz V3 which i like $250. Cana is only $70 and works Very Close to the actual thing!

According to a recent thread, the Cana has issues.

I prefer the MVP to the v3 hands down. The battery life, to me, was so much more important than size. I'm also a guy in my late 20's so my perception on light and heavy May not be the same as yours. If you're willing to learn to rebuild the KF is fantastic, the nautilus seems to have a quite a few fans on here, I personally liked the t3s with my MVP.

I think everyone should own an MVP 2. They're solid, great battery life, smooth output, reliable and can be had for $40 at 101vape.com. It's certainly my go to device whenever I am travelling because of its awesome versatility. The MVP is not heavy at all.

The secret to a quality vape is learning to rebuild. It's not hard...took me 20 mins to learn to build a coil and by my 3rd try I was pretty good. A kayfun lite clone for 20-30 bux, spool of wire for 6 bux and a bag of organic cotton will keep you in business forever. You can learn to rebuild the protank heads too but it a bit tougher to get it right.

The iTaste vv3 and MVP2 are both great options. Both can be used as a pass thru (may be used while connected to the charging cord to save battery life). Choose what is most important to you: size vs battery life. Both have the same features.

For juice attachments, you have options from the beginner level clearomizers to the intermediate level cartotank to the more advanced RBA's. You'll get better performance (flavor & consistancy) but lose convenience & ease of use the higher up the chain you go.

Is it a carto, a tank, or what?

Go for the MVP 2 for sure. In fact, get both if you can. The VVv3 for stealth/going out and the MVP 2 because it's one of the handiest devices to have in my arsenal. I used the MVP 2 exclusively for 6 months and they were great (I had two). At the 6 month mark, I wanted something special so I went with the Provari Mini and gave one of the MVPs to my sister. I kept one, even though I moved on, because it's great for building coils if you do wind up going that route. I screw the base I'm working on to the MVP, mount the coil, test it with the MVP's ohm checker before firing, then I fire it if it checks out at the right resistance to oxidize the kanthal and set the coil. All on one device, rather then needing to move the base around to different devices for each step.

You can't go wrong with the MVP 2.0. Great devise! It's what I use all day everyday. MVP2 topped with a kayfun lite + clone.

My only issue - and you'll run into this with any battery unless it has a floating/adjustable center pin - sometimes you have to pull up on the center pin to make contact with the 510 connection.
