okay, exciting news. my one month analog quit date is quickly approaching (as well as some other holiday... cant seem to think of it) and i do believe it's time for an UPGRADE!

im working with an eGo 650mAh battery right now and an kanger evod BCC clearomizer (please, im still new. if i make a mistake and call something a clearomizer when its something else, correct me lol) ANYWAYS i get a pretty good vape in the morning after my battery has had ample (pun intended) time to charge. but come midday to late afternoon its friggin weak! i was under some assumption it was regulated to always push out steady volts or something.... i dunno, either way: upgrade

sooooo, ive decided to skip what i thought would be my next step to an eGo twist type battery and just go straight for a nicer PV because price wise (i am on a VERY limited budget) it doesnt make sense to go to a twist and then go up to a PV when that disspoints.

thinking this Sigelei "Telemax" Apv VV Device - Stainless .
what do you think, good choice? anyone love/hate it? ive looked at the apv boards and might post there too, but i always notice some killer veterans lurking around the newbie forums ready to jump in with good advice. also dont want biased opinions, if you hate it tell me. will the evod dissapoint on this thing for the next month or so? after a little advice scouring ill pull the trigger, then on to learning to build something nice to sit pretty on top.

also if you have a better option, let me know what it is and why. (i'd love to stay under $70 if i can unless its really worth it and still under, lets say $100)

iTaste MVP 2.0 ($40 at 101vapes), and either a Kanger ProtankII or Protank II mini, or a cartotank, or stick with clearomizers, they'll all work on it. Tanks are a nice step up, for holding more juice.

A smaller version of this is

Innokin iTaste VV v3.0 Starter Kit BEST PRICE ONLINE- MistHub

Which i may be ordering next - lots of features at that price!

Forgot to add - the Seigeli is a nice piece of gear, but don't forget that you'll need to add a couple batteries and a charger in with that price, you're looking at $100 easy for a full kit, and a clearomizer like you're using isn't really optimal for that. You can do it, but other tanks and such are going to work a lot better for you on it.

okay that's what i'm talking about! nice advice thanks, good point about batteries and charger. i almost forgot about that. a local brick and mortar has a decent deal on a kit i believe but thanks for reminding me to tack that on to the price tag. i'm going to say something that i may look back on and think stupid but i love the look and feel of the seigeli. held one at the shop and it just felt right as opposed to the itaste mvp which didnt feel good. i havent tried the itaste v3 though so i will have to before judging.

should look and feel not be such a deciding factor. or in this case, is what im looking to get a good decent enough piece of equipment that the factor of look and feel is okay to be the deciding factor. also, its going to be #1 around here for a while so i need to be in love lol.

also, will this bad boy hold up? i think im going to the model specific board and youtube to search for a "test of time" type review... keep up the advice ya'll thanks so much

That Sigelei looks nice. From a cursory review of the specs, it has everything you need from an APV. The reason I didn't go with an MVP, even though everyone likes it, is because I wanted the ability to change batteries. It is true that you have to buy the charger and batteries though.

I went with an iTaste SVD, which basically does the same thing as this Sigelei. It was $37 from Fasttech, the only thing I've ever bought from Fasttech. $20 Xtar WP2 II charger from Orbtronic, and an AW 2000 mah battery from RTD vapor for $11. So about $70 for everything. I just bought a Panasonic 2900 mah NCR battery from Venerable Vaping for $7.99.

I own both the Sigelei Z-Max and the MVP 2. Although both very nice PVs my vote goes to my fave APV- the Zmax. Tube alone can be bought for about $42.00- needs batts and charger. Reason I suggest the Zmax is because once you have the batts and charger a whole new world of relatively inexpensive Tube Mods opens up.
I'm impressed with the build quality of both APVs.

To be honest, as a starter kit the evod bcc isn't too bad a boy if you up your nic mg but a 650mah battery is going to have to work hard to keep up your demands.

The Vamo is cheap as chips and has a lot of features and introduces you to the world of APV's too as much as the use of batteries, safety and charging and also getting the tweaked perfection from your atty's and carts. If I was to redo all I have done so far, I would go back in time and just buy a Vamo and a few Russians and saved a lot of time and money for what I want out of an ecig.

Clearo's, tanks, attys, drips, that is pretty much a minefield for all newcomers, some people like dual coil tanks, others prefer dripping units, others again prefer the cheap and cheerful CE* throwaway clearomisers and some want to go all out on hundreds of pounds worth of kit just for a name or a badge and bragging rights lol

Protanks and Protank Mini's are pretty sound starters as are the evods 1.8 ohm headed ones, the common and garden vivi's out there are cheap and plentiful and give a good blast, plenty of videos out there on the more exotic ones and in no time you will be leaving a passing cloud behind you as you vape I am sure.

If you are really lucky Fasttech are having a Xmas blitz sale from 6 or 8pm US time (you will have to look on the site for this) and have on offer 10 MVP full sets for $20 and a load of other sale items too, a proper MVP for 20 dollars is a steal but I imagine there will be thousands trying to get them hehe

On the reasonable end would suggest the Innokin SVD, or the Telsa, both go 15 watts and with batteries and charge could probably find them for about $100 or less. If you want to go great quality one can never go wrong with the SvoëMesto or Provari. A bit more spendy initially, but will last for years. The other option would be getting something like the Nemesis clone by Hcigar and the Evolv kick 2. The kick turns a Mechanical into a Variable Wattage device with all the protection and safety of a regulated device. Then if you ventured into rba's and rda's and wanted to try you hand at sub ohm builds in the future you wouldn't have to upgrade again. The Nemi clone and the Kick2 can be had for about $100 but would still need the batteries and charger.

A couple of things: The link that you posted is called the Sigelei Zmax most other places and $70 is way too much to pay. This APV can be found for $42-$50. There are two versions that are current, the V3 and V5. They are pretty much the same except the V5 allows you to charge things like cell phones and I think it may add a puff counter. I have been using two iTaste VV V3s and while I really like them the battery is only 800mAh so you'll, most likely, need two. The MVP V2 is a big favorite around here, has a fantastic, built-in, 2600mAh battery and is a good choice. It can be found here for $40.Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape
Here are a couple of popular sites where you can find good prices.

The Sigelei Zmax is a pretty solid device, the MVP 2 is highly regarded on ECF. MVP has a large built in battery, Zmax has changeable batteries and the ability to adjust to different size batteries. With the MVP you won't have to buy a charger or separate batteries, with the Zmax you can change batteries and sizes on the fly and keep going.

Big drawback to built in batteries, once the battery no longer takes a charge, the device is dead. Drawback to changeable batteries, you need spares and a charger. No matter which one you choose, you will open the door to a whole new world of vaping. Best of luck in choosing.

The itaste V3 is also a nice device, but the battery is only 800 MAH, if your 650 MAH Ego isn't making through the day, this may not either.

If you get the Zmax, get good IMR batteries, AW and Efest are two readily available brands that work good. A decent charger is also a must, Xtar and Nitecore are two well known and good chargers.

I agree, MVP 2.0 is where its at for price to performance. there very durable PV's whereas the Itaste VV was fairly fragile and fell apart on me after ~2-3 weeks (it got me to quit Analogs though and i wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for it) my mvp is about 3 months old and still kicking, it was (I don't use it anymore) a worry free device. I could charge it up and not get low on power for 2-3 days.

True and the newer version of the iTaste VV V3 has six rivets to hold it together as opposed to the one on the original. There were issues with the first ones puling apart, so if you decide on this device, you should look for the updated version.

It has been said 20x in here already, go for the Itaste MVP 2.0 you will get everything you need to vape in the box except juice and you can continue to use your EVOD. Ever since I got mine my 2 EGO batteries have sat in a box, it never dies. It will grow with you so to speak as get more into vaping. It can run anything that you screw on top of it. For 40.00 at 101vape you absolutely will not go wrong with one.
I think I am going to buy a second one.

ego twist doesnt disappoint me. ive read that it is just as good as any other mods out there. though i am thinking about getting an itaste because i've read good things about variable watttage. I guess I just talked myself in a circle. The twist is much cheaper and you can buy a battery for like 15 bucks if you go to the right place. I would still stand by reccomending that. but if you want to try out that vw. go for the itaste.
