Today is my 1st day here. Been vaping for almost a year and a half. Hubby still smokes and can't seem to find a set up to make him happy.

Welcome to the forum, Paula. What are his complaints. Taste, vapor, throat hit, nic buzz, size, etc.? With a few details we may be able to suggest different options to try.

First upgrade after the spinner batteries was mvp2.0 and ehpro kfl.
I don't have to worry about batteries and explosions while I learn coil building. Shoulda stayed away from drippers as they are too much work. Much prefer a tank system...
I guess that's called learning.
Also ehpro threading leaves much to be desired but for $30 I'm not complaining too much.
Still working on my dual micro coil. How the heck does rip get the tails around the screws. 7 tries and no go...

He's using a mod. The problem he most has is figuring out the cotton. He can't taste alit of flavor either. Sometimes the issue is the coil not firing properly. So many problems, so little vape.

For someone starting out. A nautilus tank. With a BVC coil works wonders. Building takes time and patience Knowledge and experience

I have twisted 30 gauge single coil 6 wraps of 2mm on my kayfun. Comes in at 1.6 ohms wicked using the navy nest method with Japanese cotton Decent vape. But amazing flavor

The nautilus tank is a no brainer tho. Just slap in a coil. Fill up the tank. And gettin on a mod that does 12-15 watts or 4-5 volts and it's game time

Just my 2 cents

I have an hcigar kayfun 2 and a rdna 30. i have a provari 2 also with nautilus tanks. I love my rdna and my kayfun.

you can't go wrong with that combo. As long as you have patience to rebuild the coils. it's an excellent tank.

I went out and bought a Grand Vapor Prometheus for 200$ canadian plus tax and shipping. I didn't know that genesis style tanks can't be left on it's side. So i have a spare tank thats super expensive that just sits there.

You'll be very happy with that combo. you have to be careful with the dna. The two screws on the bottom the the tank has a tendency to scrape the top of the dna.

So the thing he wants the most is flavor & cloud. Is it a man thing?? He uses 26 gauge wire, dual coil 6 wraps, 1.5 ohms, drip tank. This is how he was taught. He tried the conventional with clearomizers, but didn't like it. He just not happy if there's no big cloud. Idk. Seems he doesn't know what he really wants or likes and his set up cost us about $250, including getting everything to make coils.
