Dear V4L,
lately one of your most popular Wow juices WowBoy is marked as "hot" item, sold with $1 discount and therefore usual discounts don't apply.
I understand your motivation: "we have a popular product, people buy it well, so we can make more money", it's capitalism after all - you deserve a better income because you are making/selling something popular.

But I would like to make a point, it's not only your good work that actually matters. This community has done a lot of work to make your product very popular.
I didn't start using your products out of the blue, few years ago someone at this forum strongly suggested your products to me, specifically WowBoy.
10+ vipers, converted by me, don't use WowBoy as everyday juice for no reason. They became your regular customers because I taught them to do so.
And a lot of forum members have done the same, de facto working for you without compensation.
Obviously we have done some good work for your benefit.
In return we got punished: have lost ability to use your regular discount codes for our favorite juice.

Different people have different budgets/preferences and will deal with situation differently, of course.
Chances are a lot of people will start looking, vaper's groups will switch to some other daily juice and, in few months, WowBoy will not be "hot" anymore.
Once people switch - they will not go back without a good reason.
It would be your loss.

But there is a way to keep everyone happy.
Let's face it: your regular clients don't benefit from $1 off "hot" item, most likely it scares them away.
Steady vapers don't buy bottle or two. Usually we get 5-8 bottles at the same time. Obviously we buy our regular juice when we get one of the discount emails or text messages.
If you would have few days per month (let's say 1st, 10th and 20st) when WowBoy (or other "hot" item) are eligible for discount or become not "hot" - it could work for everyone: your regular clients can get their usual juice at usual price while you keep higher profit margin on all the random buyers.

Vini, thank you for the feedback and I appreciate your approach as well. As of now, several flavors are marked as hot items and have been discounted. I will, however, give your feedback on a new approach to the sale to the Sales manager to see if this will be possible in the future. I thank you again for your kindness and for vaping with Vapor4Life.

BHam, I also have problems with having sales, but excluding already discounted items.
A sore point with me, Mega-Carts are marked with a 5 cent (or something like that)
discount, and therefore are not available at the sales price. I wish V4L would change
things like that. It kinda makes the old blood boil.

BHam,
one of the points you can make tho the management: some people feel insulted.
During last few weeks I've had conversations with people, reasonable questions popping up.

No one tells management how to run their business, but old timers done their research and know how things work and where goods come from.
Old timers get dekang juice for around $4 /1oz
Old timers get custom made to exact specifications (PG/VG; nicotine; sweetener) US made juice for $6.50 /1oz - while combining juice with doublers.

We don't mind paying extra for something we like and got used to. We like the idea of supporting a big domestic distributor who might do something to slow down government insanity...
But, you know, things can be pushed only to a certain point.

my thing is the time frame of sales as they seem to forget people are ordering outside of their time zone ( I am pst ) often i cant drop what im doing to order and cant get it done by 8 am my time the next morning ( like now ) .
So one sale ends in less then 24 hours and another starts .How about one 48 hour sale instead of two 24 hour sales ..i dont get it .People are doing other things in life besides checking email .I love this company but always think they need to think outside of their box and think from the customers point of view a little more as thats the point of marketing anyway and $$$ ...kind of goes along with the above posts .

shipping : thats the one that gets me .I have yet to see another vendor that charges $6.95 ,priority or not .
3-4 seems to be the average ,but this industry seems to be the only one not offering free shipping with a specific dollar amt of order .The 6.95 eats up most sale savings .We all know what it costs to ship in the usa and this is not it .Amazon ,free shipping over 25.00 ,drugstore .com free shipping over 25.00 ( lot heavier product ) and im sure they are shipping heavier packages .It is enough ,on principle to make me combine and order say 2 times a year and use other vendors .
