Here are my observations, and hopefully will save you a few bucks (especially if you do a lot of trading in the classifieds!)


Send packages FIRST CLASS. The postage works out to about 1.50 compared to 4.95. You can get Delivery Confirmation if the package is not too fat (or heavy) too!

Shipping times are faster! Believe it or not. Seen it time and again in the last two weeks.

Ex: package mailed to me on Saturday : California to Florida. I received the package MONDAY.
If sent priority, they are taking about 3 business days.

You can only use first class if the weight is 13oz or lower. Anything over 13 oz will have to go priority (USPS) The higher the weight the more you pay for priority (it breaks at each lb) weight up to 1 lb is usually 4.95, 1-2 lbs (depending on the location is 5.50 to 7.50) and it goes up accordingly.
