Thursday AFTERNOON I order from four different suppliers. They ALL shipped the packages THAT DAY..

Perfumers Apprentice and Levy Xtreme vaping arrived Saturday
Digital Ciggz and Blue Mist out for delivery, RIGHT NOW on Monday

First class/Priority mail doesn't seem to matter, any more. Both first class packages are already here. Of the two coming today I think one is first class and one priority.

You just can't ask for faster shipping than these e-cig suppliers are doing
I just wish the geniuses I ordered a phone from on ebay would learn how to ship that quickly. Order on Friday and they don't ship until Monday. Thank you so much :censored:

E-cig suppliers are indeed fast. I typically receive stuff from Cali to NY in 3 days. I got one order from China (GreenHouseOne) in just 7 days. I'm spoiled with 2 day delivery from LiteCig and GoodProphets too... And, of course, there was the 27 hour to the door delivery from BWB!

Recently I ordered a replacement part for my oven. From Michigan to NY, I figured 3 days... 9 days later the part was in my mail box via USPS... interesting because the item started as Fed Ex and was switched to USPS somewhere in Jersey!

So yeah... e-cig suppliers are awesome. =)

Not if they use Pay Pal though. I ordered from Totaly Wicked and they didn't ship for three days until the funds cleared through the Pay Pal system. The ones that used credit cards were always fast though.

Yeah.. paypal is a horrible thing for sellers to deal with.. I have some stories of my own you wouldn't believe.
One time paypal made me so mad and angry I threw a $3000 computer at a wall and wrecked the mobo!!
Of course, back then, 3 dimes didn't matter to me
I only got done for $15 but it was just their idiocy that got me excited!! I sure do miss having that kind of a temper.

I know what you mean. A-lot of old skool businesses still think 7-10 day processing times are acceptable. They're dying because of it.. That is too bad, too, I'm dying because of some of my old skool ways in business, too.. ... Adapt or die

And of course, you have to love those jokers who list parts "in stock" and then order them from their people AFTER you place your order (and don't even drop ship)

That never made sense to me. When a company will do that and not even have the supplier drop ship. Just costs them a-lot more for shipping. Or us, I guess... but pass that cost along and you're not very competitive any more

I used to work for an appliance repair company, and if you think 7-10 days is bad try 3-4 months. One top appliance company made in North Korea(but branded as South Korean) you can wait 6 month before you get their parts. Even some US companies can take about a month before you get parts from them. So when a website gets it sent that day or next day is a miracle in this day and age!

WoW
When I was hustling washers and dryers, we would give a six month warranty.. and if something needed to be fixed we had all of the parts we needed from other units. And most little stuff was IN STOCK at the local wholesaler .. thank god

It was a great setup. Anyone could make a fortune doing what we were doing. Normal appliance stores are stupid, they leave 50%+ of the money on the table.

We would go out to someones house and deliver the washer/dryer. Used with warranty. They "traded in" their old set which many times was newer/better.... the workers would fix them up and "wash rinse repeat".. Plus we beat the used appliance store pricing by 25% ... And they were only giving 30 day "bring it back to us" warranties

People loved us
My partner got into some bad .... and it all fell apart... sigh!!

Geez, I really knocked this thread off topic, eh? Sorry THE. =)

Here's the thing though, Wilvin... The part (a keypad overlay) *was* in stock. In fact, one of the company's policies is that if the part shows that it is in stock and doesn't ship that SAME day, there is no charge for the part. The item did indeed ship the same day. Once it was in transit was when the adventure began.

Interestingly, USPS was NOT a shipping option, either -- not solely, anyway. The least expensive route (which easily could have fit into $4.95 Priority USPS box) was the combination of Fed Ex and USPS for, like, $8. Fed Ex 2 day was $18-ish and Fed Ex Next Day required a mortgage application. LOL

So, just to steer this back to e-cig shipping as THE intended, the majority of our vendors do a stellar job of getting the items in the mail QUICKLY. What transpires after that is out of their control but *usually* USPS gets stuff around the country pretty quick.

We usually take our packages to the post office the same night, but when the post office decides to put the packages through the system is another story, something we can never tell lol. It pretty much depends how lazy your local post office is !

I still buy from vendors myself and always will, i enjoy it, but one thing that makes me laugh is when people are like ''OMG i ordered at x time tonight and it was shipped 30 mins later !!'' well actually that just means they completed the order on the system with your tracking number and they have to click 'ship' for it to send it to your email. it DOES NOT mean it's shipped yet ! I click shipped on our orders when it is physically at the post office, not before.

I have noticed that, too
This one guy on ebay put it into the system maybe three minutes after I ordered it and it tells me the "Elec shipping info received".. Good system, but annoying

LOL I was not trying to go off topic, just using an example that a week to have something shipped is not too bad as compared to a month to 6 months. A lot of it I guess depends on what is being shipped, from were is is shipped from, and the company that is sending it out. I would say 2 to 3 days is pretty good order to receive time frame.
