Tip!! Clear out Flavor w/ Vape!

So cool! Never will know why I didn't think of this until now...
I have been vaping JagerBomb recently... but I want to get into a few of my other new flavors w/o opening yet, another new atty... So...
The Tip>>>
I dropped a couple drops of VG that I got from Dawn on my atty and used a blank cart mouthpiece w/ no filler to vape out the excess flavor of the Jagerbomb... (JagerBomb is great like this too as it gets weaker and weaker in flavor and the sweetness of the Redbull starts to come through quite a bit)...
After dropping VG on my atty twice... all the flavor is out... This also made mad vapor!! Very satisfying to the point I am now waiting to vape later... Maybe in 30 min... LOL (btw, until now I only have been using the VG to prime out new atty's or an after cleaning prime...
I have never seen this tip so if others already do this- excuse my ignorance! This is so cool! I can now vape a new flavor w/o completely cleaning my atty and no mixing flavors I don't want to mix!! Woohooo!!

Thanks for the tip ... wondering if it will work to get rid of menthol flavor ... nothing I've tried till now has gotten rid of the taste. I've given up on finding a menthol I like and hate the thought of chucking an otherwise perfect atty!

I never tried this, either. But I have a 510 atty that I cannot get the Clove out of ... And I've tried just aboiut everything. Gonna have to give this a try. Great idea !!

If you want AWESOME menthol, try Nhaler menthols......I searched for forever before I found menthol I could stand....I LOVE NHalers menthols! The NuPort, 555-tobacco and Mint black Tea and USA mint tobacco are to die for! A true tobacco/menthol mix!

If youve already tried these and didnt like them, please excuse my suggestion but after trying all those "menthols" that were pplain ol' mint to me, Nhaler's menthols were a very refreshing change for me!

I've been doing I guess the same thing you are only I've been using my unflavored 36mg pg to do the trick. I works. Menthol is harder to get rid of though. I have one atty I use for menthol only.

I found a couple of flavors I know that are next to impossible to get out of an atty. I vaped vg like a fiend and it took the flavor right out.

I've been using either unflavored vg or pg to clean the atty when trying new flavors as I try DIY. It's been working like a charm.

Crash, on the contrary, thanks for the suggestion. I actually haven't tried any from Nhaler. I've tried 6 different "menthols" and they all tasted like either spearmint or peppermint ... uggh ... disappointing for me, I only smoked menthol analogs! So now that you've twisted my arm tell me, if you had to pick only 1 of the ones you mentioned, which one would it be? Watching my pennies!

OMG! You guys this really works great! It took 3 times on my menthol to get to where I couldn't taste the menthol & RY4 anymore... Ry4 flavor was gone after one time- the menthol lingered a bit, very very light but I could taste it after the 3rd time dripping 2 drops after about the 5th inhale, I couldn't taste anything...
I am using the VG because
1. It is what I have (also have PG/Vg mix)
2. It's what I use when priming atty after cleaning...
3. I don't have plain nic juice yet
4. I still want vapor and VG supposedly makes a lot (true, true)
5. W/ the bit of liquid left in the atty, I figured I am still gettin a little nic while doing this so it doesn't matter how long it takes- as I was just "tryin' somethin'"- LOL

I am now going to try it on my cinnamon... That will be the true test!

Okay, just an update on my RedHots atty... I had to turn in last night so have been working it out today... 5 times w/ 2 drops of VG on atty and I still have a slight hint of cinnamon taste... It is nowhere near as strong as if I had RedHots in my cart or dropped on atty... It is a little hint now... I will keep throughout today... in between actual vaping... and see if it takes to 10 times... after the 10th time I try if it doesn't clear out the flavor then I will know to go ahead and soak it and then reprime w/ VG and test once more...
RedHots are definitely a lasting flavor at this point... Again, I will post back...

I do that to clear flavors from the atty when I'm sampling new DIY recipes.
For those hard to get rid of flavors, put the atty into a shot glass or pill bottle, pour in enough straight VG to cover it, let it soak overnite. works great!

Tried it last night myself. I had some Amaretto I didn't like, but after 2 days the taste wouldn't leave. The VG took it out in short order. Thx for the tip.

Hmmm. That's exactly what I've been wondering...lol. I have to admit, I have spent way more than I ever expected, but then again, I consider vaping my new hobby. I figure I am good till July anyway, unless the FDA tries something silly.

Hey you guys...
An Update!!! Okay, this method worked on my RedHots atty also!
Big Brain Fart to announce>>>
I had apparently been vaping VG drops w/ the atty but never took the cart and filler out of the mouthpiece-
So... It appeared that it took longer to oust the flavor of RedHots... In actuality it may not have taken so long- once I realized my moment 8-o- I removed and got a atty jacket (blank w/ no filler mouthpiece)- used that and after 2 times of VG drops and vaping away- the flavor is gone...
So sorry, to report otherwise before...
Seeing as how I had been vaping VG previously even w/ the filler and cart attached... I would say it may still take longer w/ the RedHots than other flavors but no where near what it appeared to be taking...
However, final word on this... It is a great Flavor Clearing Method I will be doing this everytime I want a quick change over of flavors and not want to get out a new atty...
I'm a happy Vaper right now! Vaping on some Maple for the first time...!

Feeling a little dense... are you guys vaping straight thick vg dropped onto the atty, or are you using a thinned vg?
