I just wanted to re-remind everyone a good tip I learned from here. That you can print first class postage from your Paypal account. Just got to Paypal and click on the Merchant Services tab. Then click on the link below where it says Multi Order Shipping. There you can make up a label and tell them how much it weighs and they calculate it for you. You even get tracking info for like 19 cents, I think. I have started doing this recently because I ran out of stamps.

Great reminder.

You can also install the USPS shipping Assistant for free, print the labels with postage on regular paper and tape to the envelope. That would save all the hassle of getting stamps. I so need to get a scale this week, lol Once I do that will be how I label and ship from now on. I can just stick them in the mailbox and let the mailman pick them up instead of trying to catch someone before they leave the house.

I have been doing this lately too, and it works great! It is extremely convenient, and the label that prints is large enough to cover up any previous addressing that is on a re-used envelope. Just remember not to tape over the bar code.

Thanks so much for the tip! I use the paypal shipping labels features for all my stuff on eBay, I didn't know I could use it for other stuff too; that's awesome!

Someone just ordered 600 flat rate envelopes, 500 small flat rate boxes, and 500 labels.

Sure, you may say. "hey that's over kill..."

I say, "I love free stuff..."

I really wish that usps would make a flat rate postage stamp you could buy. This way I could get 4 at a time and not goto the post office to send items.

Great tips everyone, I'll have to keep them in mind. I have some left over bubble wrap and I'm pretty decent at shipping items. So I should be ready to ship away...

If you mean Priority flat rate stamps, they do sell them at the PO

red: THANK YOU for the tip!! I shall have to try that one. I'm here at usps.com and pouring over the pages of stamps trying to wrap my brain around the postage calculations that Neo figured out. Asking my son doesn't help! lol.. neither of us could divide 139 by 2! :D

Jazzle: if you are shipping priority, you can order those boxes free at usps (hope you did that!!) However, if you ship first class, it's cheaper and actually is a little faster (BUT you have to buy the envies).. oops.. ok, I see that you did!

PM and Susan: what size did you order from the envie place? the 000 looks too small, but it's a much better price than the 00. (I'm so used to the walmart ones, I can't compare)

Thank you so much for this. I avoided the stamps.com thing because of the cost after a month. I think this will work for me!

I didn't get them yet. It must take a long time to mail envelopes. lol. I don't remember what size. I think I went with the bigger ones because I have been cutting them in half (a tip from here, thanks) so I can use them for small or big packages.

I got the 000 ones and they are a bit small, but so far they've worked for me. I still keep envelopes I have received on hand in case I need something bigger.

I think 00 would be the right size for most PIF's. I have a ton of 0 ones so I'm using them, but they are definitely too big, and cost more to ship because of the extra weight. (Granted, it's not that much weight...)
Cut them in half, and tape them up. thats what i do w/ bigger ones.:?:

I got a ton of mailing stuff left from my son's days of selling stuff on eBay---can't grip, he cleaned house.

I also save the padded envelopes that I receive stuff in.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

Hey Guys,

Just want to get this back on the 1st page as well as add to it. It came to our attention today for the 2nd time recently that a bottle came open in the baggie. I just don't know what to say. We've taken every precaution necessary, recently even taping the lids. We are using stamp.com, printing at home but giving them directly to the MM due to the excessive heat.

Just don't know what else to say other than we'll make it right. Somewhere this stuff HAS to be getting exposed to the heat, but wanted to ensure everyone that it isn't on our end. Is anyone else running into this? About to stop shipping liquids till cooler weather comes if this keeps up.

Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

The only thing I can suggest is to not overfill the bottles. Leave a little room in case there is expansion going on from the heat or from being squeezed while in transit. You know that the USPS is not the most careful when it comes to being careful with the mail. Also, like you said, put all liquids in a baggie. You can get the cheap sandwich bags and they work great for this. It will keep someone from possibly being exposed to the nicotine if the bottle should leak.
