Tips and Tricks with eV torch?

Hi Everyone,

Received my order yesterday and so far I like it quite a bit, it's worked out pretty well.

Though I've had some minor leaking (which may be more technique, but I haven't found a whole lot of resources (here or otherwise) that say I'm doing anything completely wrong.

I am not sure if it's seeping through the white pollyfill in the smart cartridge, but it's not very pleasant to get a great deal of eliquid on my lips and mouth.

Is filling as the instructions say to 3/4 too much in smart cartridges with fillers? Would it be better to replace the atomizer with a cartomizer?

Where are you getting leaking from?
Bottom of atty onto the torch?
Connection from smart cart to atty?
In your mouth?

It seems to be from the smart cart to the atty as it leaks down to the hole on the mouth piece or out through the crack between the atomizer and battery

It may be condensation from drags.

Try taking the smart cart off, removing the black part from the clear part (the part that holds the juice) and using a paper towel just wipe the clear part off, and then the inside of the black part.
Reassemble and see if your able to get a number of pulls without leaking.

Other than that it just maybe that the smart carts aren't the greatest.
I tried them and didn't like them. Plus they cracked really easily.

If you got a drip tip I would just try directly dripping into the atty.

Yeah the Torch is a good PV. I still have mine and it works good after 6+ months of use.

Just never really liked the smart carts.

Put a drop of liquid on the outside of the smart cart plug (3 drops if you dare). If the part that faces the atomizer drys out it will stick to the atty bridge - causing leaks.

Also helps if you hit the manual button just a second before inhaling and hold it. Heats the atty really well.

Keep the end plug wet - the atty hot. It's a perfect combination.

Thank you very much I'll give that a go. It's been great to use other than the occasional leak. I must have let it sit too long today while at work.

Though it hasn't been awfully long, I haven't had a cigarette since I have picked it up at the post office

I use boge carto's on my torch alot and the smart carts. I also have used to dual coils but that drains the 650mah battery quite a bit. I havn't had a leaky one yet, but I have also done some trimming down of the poyfill as that seems to help with 510 smart carts as well.
