Ive had my 510 for a little over a week now and starting playing around with things to try to get the best hit from the such setup. When I first started, I found myself disappointed with the amount and quality of each pull. What are your tips/tricks to maximize performance.

1. I work in a chemical R&D lab, so I soak my atomizer in USP 99.99% isopropyl alcohol in a closed jar and put it a heated sonicator for 30 mins. Then wipe it down and blow it out till dry (no rinse). The high purity leaves no residue. Then I connect it to the battery and dry fire it until I see no more vapors, no smell, and see the coil glow red. I do this everytime I charge an empty battery which averages 2-3 days.

2. Fill the cart so its slushy to the top and filled to the sides but not pooling. Then I use a dropper to slowly wet the mesh and fire it a couple times until I see the vapor production desired while making sure it isn't gurgling. I repeat this every 8 hits or so.

3. Connect the cart and take a nice long pull.

Couldn't be any happier with my current setup. I can almost get almost a lungful of vapor with a clean flavorful taste.

I know my method is tedious and I know you have your own tips/tricks. Let me know what you think or if I'm doing anything wrong. Post your own tips/tricks up too!

Nice guide! Here is mine

1. Dragging

I use manual batteries
press in 1-2 seconds before starting drag
drag...
let up button 1+ second before end of drag
end drag
inhale

For auto batteries:
Buy manual batteries

2. Cartomizers

Try them. Boge 510 are best. (you need the standard resistance ones with a slim 510). If you want the big hot hit of the LR ones you need a fat battery model like Riva 510 or Ego

3. PG

I like 70% with 30% VG for hit flavor and TH and pretty good vapor too

I find that if I don't clamp as hard on the mouthpiece and draw some air in with the drag I get lots more flavor.

And short slow drags as opposed to long slow drags work for me as well.

But sometimes I do want a cloud of vapor like I'm making a review video so I take a huge draw. But just occasionally. LOL
