Anyone have any tips that they care to share on keeping track of refilled carts? I am a flavor junkie and am constantly switching out flavors, but am beginning to lose track of which carts I've filled with which flavor:confused: Some of them are easy because I put Peach in the Peach carts and what not, but there are no carts for banana. One of my favs:D

I also have a bunch of other flavors that I don't have matching carts for like Red Cow, Pear and Strawberry. I have plenty of carts, just not all that match my juice. I can keep track pretty well right now, but I could see it going south very quickly. Any suggestions on how to keep it all straight?

Maybe you can get a fine sharpie (permanent ink) pen and put a RC on the end of the "condom" for red cow? A B for banana ect...

Of course, flavors that you can buy a cart for, I would do that, but the odd ones like banana that only come in juice I would do that. I am really hoping Steve will surprise us with banana carts really soon!

oddly enough my marker..and it's a good one..writes on glass even, wont stick to a cartomizer..think the nic or pg is dissolving the ink. it stays for a while, then starts rubbin off like crazy.

what *does* seem to work now for me is one of those super thin label makers...im usin white with black lettering..top shelf cart marking that is, although i have to use tiny font or abbreviations to mark them, only so big, a cartomizer is.

I wrap them around the base (battery end) where the flavor markings usually are.

Takes a bit of experimentation to get the size right..and if you have an end with leftover (no writing) make sure you put it on first then wrap it around so you dont cover your name!..cut the other end off right by the first letter.

those old fashioned label makers that take the real rigid tape? prob wont work too well, although you could probably "read" the raised letters in the dark by feel haha. go with the super thin tape type for best results.

I use fingernail stickers - you can get them at Walmart and probably most drug stores in the nail polish section. They come in sets, so there are at least two stickers that match in each set. I would put one of the stickers on juice bottle and the one that matches it on the cart.

Genious! Might be too girly girl for the manly men though! lol ;)

Actually, I bought a plastic toolholder that has sections for different sized nails, screws ect... You can put different flavors in different sections. It also has removable dividers so you can have larger sections for the spare batteries and bottles of juice. It is rather handy and you can label each section.

Had to laugh when I read this. I started with a sharpie then graduated to numbers used for electrical applications. Now I don't care as long as I stay away from my menthol carts. I like just about everything I fill now so I look forward to the surprise. way to easy to go out of control on these things. Fun though! :)

Thanks everyone for all of the great ideas! I think that I'm going to go either the sticker or the tape route. I like surprises too, but for the sake of making sure that I refill with the same flavor I think I'd be better off keeping them organized:D I've already accidently mixed a couple of flavors that didn't taste so great i.e. blueberry and PBCup YUK:nah: Anyway, thanks again for all the great suggestions, very helpful!

I use a label maker and stick a label on the cart. I keep the atty and the cart together on strong flavors. Label stays on a really long time, through several cleanings in vodka.

After cleaning, I leave some labels on, remove others to make room for new flavors. (clean about once a week).

BTW - got the refurbished label maker at brother.com for less than $5. Glad to have a use for it. It is easy to forget how to work it if I don't use it often.
