Hello, I am new to the forum. Started vaping 3 months ago, after being off cigarettes for nearly 2 years!

Changed from PG to 100% VG 18mg liquid due to headaches, so that was sorted. Now, from terrible insomnia (when having no cigarettes and no vaping) I am sleeping all the time and cant wake up in the morning. Plus, had a couple of bad vertigo phases.
To start with, I loved the sleep, but now just too sleepy all the time and I don't like that dizziness. I am waking with a slight sore throat each morning as well (I guess that will be due to not drinking enough).

I have to be careful what I eat due to migraines (with vertigo sometimes), so I am wondering if its the flavouring in the E liquid. I use Puffin E liquid. Has anyone any idea of the flavourings that are used in the liquids?

Any information appreciated.

Thanks,
Christine

They can use a wide array of chemicals for flavoring due to lax laws. Call the company and ask. Solo an halo are decent juices an use food grade flavorings. I make my own all natural. Visit my web sight.

Hi, can I get these in the UK? All natural sounds great, can I purchase these in the UK?

Thanks
Christine

If you haven't had any nicotine at all in two years why did you decide to use 18 mg liquids? Sounds like it's simply too much nicotine at this point and I would suggest dropping all the way to 6 mg or maybe even less.

Yes, that's a point. I started on 12 mg but couldn't seem to get enough to satisfy me, so went up to 18mg. Problem is with vaping, we tend to keep going with it, not like a cigarette when one satisfies you and then its finished for a while. I might try some low 6 mg.

The sleep thing seems to be since I am on the 100% VG liquid though and the dizziness.

I got headaches from high PG but not sleepiness or dizziness. That's what made me think it was the change of liquid and could be the flavourings.

Vaping 101: Vaping is not smoking. If you are expecting an instant nicotine buzz from vaping as from a cigarette that doesn't happen. If you try to ramp up your nic level high enough to chase after that you can make yourself sick. Nic absorption from vaping doesn't happen in the lungs, it's a much slower process through the oral cavity the same as nicotine gum.

Not everyone has the ability to just run to the doctor. Your issue is toooo much nicotine! I was a pad smoker and 18mg kicked my ase. You should be no higher than 12 , get a different flavor to get you more satisfied. Try hangsen Arabic. You can keep 18 just for a buzz session but stick to 8-12mg for all day use. And reduce consumption at night. Nicotine is a stimulant

I agree. In this case, a doctor is sensible though... we have the NHS. :)

I like the sound of Hangsen Arabic... tell more.. :)

Thanks everyone. Dave I like to party in different places :) I would have been quicker to identify but someone else had the same username:confused: I am not getting insomnia (that's the odd thing, I had terrible insomnia before I started vaping) I am sleeping way too much and waking dizzy.
It seems that too much nicotine is the main problem here. I will reduce it significantly, get some 6mg. This vaping game is a lot more complicated that I thought, I am forever buying stuff. Just wish I could get it right.
Don't want to give up nicotine, I like the calm it gives me (was way too stressed without it).
Thanks Guys
