Dont get me wrong. Cartomizers are great when out and about in public where you want your cigarette to look like a cigarette.

I'm tired of refilling them. It's a mess AND, cartomizers don't last very long for that full aromatic flavor.

There must be something better out there like a mini tank or something.

I want something that lasts a long time. Something that can be re-used. Something where im not counting on some kinda of fiber to soak up eliquid.....which really goes everywhere if you don't fill them correctly.

I use a Halo G6 battery.......they have mini tanks but they have been out of stock for at least a week.

Can someone direct me to something that I can purchase, that looks classy, and takes all the guess work out and makes the refilling process easier? And hopefully will last a long time.

I'll even entertain other recommendations of other systems that don't look like cigarettes.
Though I would prefer to stay with something that resembles a cigarette.

Is what I'm looking for even out there?
Lets make the damn thing if it's not.

oh you have no idea what all is available.
it may be time for you to upgrade to something more versatile.there is a wide variety of clearomizers available for larger manual devices, even the smaller devices have the nano clearomizers.
you may not feel ready for an allout MOD but you might look into an eGo type set up and maybe an iclear 16 or vivi nova

Well I'm new here but I have learned quite a bit over the last few days. Thery're 4 kinds of delivery methods to choose from that I know of. Atty for dripping, Cartomizers as you know, Cartomizer Tanks and Clearomizer wich uses a wick system. Really all of them require some sort of prep and maintence. I think the best option for you would be the Carto Tanks wich is basically a tank with a cartomizer dropped in it. The cartomizer has a slot or a hole for the juice to flow in. As far as prep goes you fill the carto then the tank, and for maintence you just switch out the carto when you get that burnt taste. Here is an example:

510 DCT Cartomizer Tank - Small

After doing some research I found this:

https://www.ibtanked.com/complete-tanks/stainless-steel-setup/19mm-standard-tank-detail

It's tiny and I believe it would fit your current setup.

The G6 mini tanks are expected to be back in stock TODAY. Though at this point...tomorrow may be more realistic.

Dont give up on Halo just yet, theyre a great company.

edit: and the mini tanks from Halo seem to be exactly what youre looking for..so you should look at kanger t4 with an 808 connection if you cant wait for Halo

You don't need to spend $25 on your first tank. If are you going to do that I would recommend going with a Protank (which is a bottom coil clearomizer) or the new Smoketech Pyrex Dual Coils Tank. However, I prefer the Boge cartomizers vs Smoktech cartos. I would also recommend taking the step to an eGo. You will get longer battery life and better performance out of your tanks.

Your still gonna switch cartos out every couple days minimum if your using darker and or thicker juices. That is where you GOTTA DO A VIVI NOVA. Has to be genuine vision from got vapes. Go with the 2.5 full sized and boil your wicks. this includes the one that comes installed. boil them for about 10 minutes, do a few short dry burns and vape away. they are great, have just as much flavor if not more than a carto, ease of use is stellar, heads last a long time. Just fill and go. BUT!! YOU HAVE TO BOIL THE HEADS. do NOT skip that step or you will have scratchy, dry, plasticy type experience. The Kanger T2 is great as well but not quite as good as the vivi nova. Ive tried about everything there is to offer out there, but if you like a warm to hot vape, full saturated flavor, ease of use with no messing around, the NOva is by far your best option. Good luck!

remember if your into a cold vape than bottom coil tanks will be fine like the pro tank. But if you like being able to go to warm, you gotta have top coil. so long as its NOT the Iclear30! lol. cant get a warm vape with those. anyway the nova is best for top coil. Carto tanks are great with the exception of having to punch or slot them, you can clean them by boiling them a few times until the water is clear, stick them in the grate of a fan for 6 hours, and bake them at 170 for a few hours and they are good as new. You can get 2-3 uses out of them sometimes more. If you use light colored and thin juices, a carto in a tank will last a good while! I would recommend the J-tank from electroncstix.com right here ElectronicStix.Com · Standard J-Tank (3.3ml) and if you go for the vision vivi nova, get it here or go for both and you decide!:) GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml V2.5 REBUILDABLE TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5] - $12.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

It's not necessary to boil vivi nova heads. I've been using them for months on end and have never boiled one. I do clean and dryburn the heads - this video is a good intro. You don't have to rebuild the coils like he does in the video, you can buy new ones. Also Discount Vapers sell Vision vivi novas, and other vendors do too. The Vision vivi nivas are the originals. Unfortunately people have had a bad time with some vivi nova knock offs. There is a Vision mini vivi nova as well - a lot of people use them with an ego battery.

I USED to not have to boil the heads. But even Pbusardo has stopped using vivi novas which were once his favorites because of the same reasons as mine. They used to be perfect. But for some juices, something changed in the quality of the heads. Pbusardo had a much never video talking about how he got tired of how they changed and were not as good. Another member on this forum actually, many members had the same experience as me. a year ago they were great but something changed all of a sudden. They said you have to boil them. I tried just cleaning them and dry burns but it still did not fix the problem with dry scratchy and plasticy type flavor. Then I finally took the advice of many and boiled them. and it was just like the good ole vivi novas that me, phil, and many others used to know. Sorry I don't mean to be mean in disagreeing with you. But on the safe side for all juices, you gotta boil them. Trust me:)

Just the vivi novas. Other devices have had some of that too but the vivi nova was the only thing I ever noticed a real difference. yes before the first use. It's like they have some sort of oil on them to preserve them or something. Just the heads and just clean the tank when you get it with warm water and dry it out. Thats always good to do with every new device.

I am vaping on a nova from gotvapes right now that when I first recieved it, I was getting dry, scratchy, burning, and plastic taste using a darker 50/.50 juice. though I have a 100% VG lighter juice that works just fine! I couldn't go much above 3.8-4.0 volts tilting constantly without getting dry and burning hits and it had that plastic type flavor for some reason. I boiled the head, now I can crank it to 5.0volts with stacked batteries, get a full saturated flavor with little tilting, and a HOT HOT vape with zero burning, no plastic, etc. Just pure goodness!! That is why I agree with others, boiling helps.

By the way when you get one, There is a little silicone cap with a washer in it that is on the head. Take that off before you boil the heads to remove that preserve oil thats on it. Take a steak nife or pocket knife. And pull that little washer out of the cap. put it on a cutting board, press it down and squash it with your finger on the board and cut off just a blade length of material on that cap at the bottom of the silicone. just a little 1-2mm strip off the end. Put the washer back in, the flat side goes down, just put it on the head again just before you put your drip tip back on, and just get it started. don't push it all the way down onto the head. Just get it to where its just starting to slip onto the head. Then, screw your end cap and drip tip down just till you feel resistance and stop. it will NEVER have a wicking issue after that. Like it could get any better?? Well it just did after crusing the austria vapors forums and other people having these issues with the nova, that was a popular fix so I tried it and WOW again! lol.

I haven't seen that. The last video I watched of his he was still mentioning vivis and not saying that they were bad or needed boiling or that he doesn't want to use them anymore. I haven't seen him say anything like what you are saying. Also I don't recall they were ever his "favorites" as such - he uses different attachments including carto tanks that he likes. Texas I've been using them in the last year and haven't had your experience. They didn't change suddenly - knock offs appeared more and more. People have had issues with vivi nova knock offs - but that's something different. I've been on this forum close to a year and have not seen what you are saying. Lots of people have been using vivis in the last year and not boiling them at all. With new heads, I let them sit with juice for about 30 min, roll them and then vape. They just need time to wick. All I'm saying is that new vapers don't need to think they have to boil vivi nova heads. Some people might do this - although I really can't see the advantage. A rinse under a warm tap would probably achieve the same thing. They are just wicks and coils.
