Hi, I am just new to vaping and got a G6 starter kit, and some cartos, from halo-cigs.

I live in europe and I am looking for a good/decent KR808D-1 (thats what its called?) re-fillable cartomizer that I can buy here.

Preferably the cost to use ratio should be low. By that I mean an affordable cartomizer that can be used muliple times, and that the number of refills justifies the price.

I dont even know where to begin, so what are your experiences?

Edit: Also, Do you know if cartomizers last longer in a tank?

Thank you. :)

I don't know about anywhere else but in the UK at least, 5 pack of blank/empty V3 cartomisers - V3 Cartomisers by JAC Vapour Ltd those are the best I can find. Use the code ECR69 for a discount if it still works.

They are the same cartomisers as with the halo and volt and bloog etc (kr808d-1). One cartomiser is expected to last around a week to two weeks but can be more, or less. There's never a guarantee one will last longer.

I have used those cartomisers personally, and I do like them a lot. You can keep refilling them until they stop working or you don't think they're doing as well as they did before. Just slam in some juice and keep using them until you decide to throw it.

Hope that helps at all!

V2 and Halo sells blank 5 packs for ~$9, Avid sells for ~$8.50, V4L sells for ~$10.

They all seem to be fairly expensive compared to 510 threaded cartomizers. I realize you probably just spent $55 on your G6, but you may wish to seriously consider a 510 threaded battery. For about $16 you can pick up a 510 battery and charger from AVEJuice (Better yet, pick up a 1100mAh KGO battery for $18) and reduce your long term expenses. NiteLiteVapor is selling 5 packs of 510 Boge cartomizers for $5.50.

Thanks for that link. The V3 and G6 cartomizers seem very similar, might even have the same tech inside, but the V3 seems to be 1,5 US dollars less (per five-pack). :) Might try these.

Damn. I was led to believe the KR8 was the industry standard. Are you saying that the 510 is much cheaper in the long-term?

And what about "tankomizers"? do they burn out too?

- They are the exact same I think.

- Where did you hear that kr808 was the stanard :?: 510 is the most common.

- Everything will burn out eventually, everything :(

I don't think anything tank based will do so well on a kr808d-1 like the g6. I once put an ego T atomiser on my 808 ecig with an adapter just to see what it looked like. It looked like I gave a cigarette a little sombrero umbrella

808 was the standard when I started in mid 2010 -- 510 land was atties and carts then. I still like 808, though my favorite cartomizers now are the 801 Ikenvape fusions; one or two places in Europe carry them, I believe, you would use them with an 808/801 adapter. The fusions work fine in standard carto tanks.

In Europe, you might also try liberty flights UK, their Boge or Kanger 808D-1 cartomizers. If you're thinking of a tank, be sure to get them in bare stainless steel.

Do any of you know why these 510’s are so much cheaper than KR8’s?
More demand = lower prices. More people use 510 so vendors can still make a good profit selling a lot of cheap 510s. Another factor is vendor competition - be the cheapest 510 seller and you will sell the most, so the price is as low as it can be.

808 is less popular so since they sell less, they need to be sold for a little more to turn the same profit. Also, there only are really 3 or so decent kr808d-1 suppliers so they've cornered the market a little bit.

That's my guess anyway :)

For resurrector tank atomisers, I have no idea sorry :(
