Hey guys,

Obviously I'm new around here so I'll introduce myself. My name is Andrew, I'm 26 years old and I quit smoking September 1st of 2012. I've exclusively smoked Greensmoke Menthol / 24mg since that time. Recently I've been irritated by local suppliers and getting inconsistent flavor based on different lot numbers from GS, I don't know if it's Greensmoke or the supplier but I'm tired of spending my money and taking a gamble with how the cartridges will taste.

I've been doing some research and I think I like the idea and size of the joyetech 510-T, is that a good choice? I'd like to stick with roughly the size of a normal cig and that seems to fit the bill. I do NOT want to carry around a mini torpedo or my favorite descriptor a pocket sized ICBM missile! Any other suggestions would be great. As it is, I go through 1-1/2 to 2 of the Greensmoke cartridges a day and one battery will generally last me around 8-10 hours of on and off use. I prefer automatic batteries and would like some input on good menthol ejuices. As I originally really liked the GS menthol and that's what I've used since I started. So far I've found Puresmoker Minthia and Halo Menthol Ice to be recommended. I'd really appreciate any input / suggestions.

Thanks!

I started out on GS too; I didn't care for the $3 carto price; I don't know how you put up with it!

I switched to a Halo Triton; an ICBM missile, by your measure.

I'd suggest the Halo G6 (and I'm sure many others will too) but I have no experience with it. What I could suggest, is the smallest Triton battery (400 mAh), and the G6 blank cartomizer; you can refill them yourself and save a ton of money. I use this configuration on occasion, and it works well, even though I don't get the same vapor and taste as the Triton tank. Sadly, the Triton isn't automatic.

edit: btw, Welcome! :D

Thanks so far guys, I'm looking into the Halo G6 as well, I just kinda liked the idea of no filler to worry about inside the cartridges.. Just not exactly sure how they perform compared to the GS, as I'm honestly content with the output of vapor and battery life that I get from the GS. One of my batteries is almost a year old and still works great. Other than cost and cartomizer taste inconsistency I'm happy with it.

You can compare battery capacity with the Halo G6; I believe you'll find that the G6, will perform at least as well.

If you do choose the G6, you have the option of adding the mini-tank; a disposable unit that you can re-use, with lots more warm vapor. It's not quite as stylish as a cig-a-like, but it's a nice "extra" option, and one that GS does not offer.

On the other hand, you could pick up a minitank and adapter from V2cigs, and keep using your GS batteries. That's what I did for a week+.

Vaping is an evolution. There is always something to "fix" whatever you "don't like" about a particular device. Also, there's always trade-offs. You can't have long battery life is the smallest battery, for example. You can either, but not both. If your primary feature is the smaller battery, then your choices are fairly easy, and limited, and there are several good choices, most of them already mentioned. My perfect setup up would be the size of an analog, with 24 hour battery life, and hold at least 3 mils. Unfortunately, something has to give.

The problem I have with your preferences, is that I could not live without variable voltage. I have evolved several times in my VapeQuest and am now a carto tank guy. I like the vape. So far, the best I have had, YMMV. I need a larger battery for my tanks, so I need an APV. I vape probably 7-9 mils a day, so I need some battery life, meaning at least 18650 batts or a bunch of 18350's. These preferences define me, as your cigalike size defines you. The great thing about vaping in 2013, is that we can both find gear that works for our preferences. Thank God for 2013, because it has not been like this before, and I've been vaping since 2009 when the choices were extremely limited. I thank my lucky stars, as I suspect you do as well. Congrats on getting here, thank you for sharing, good luck in your shopping, power up and vape on! Best to you!
