I've had my 901 for over a year replacing plenty of batteries and atomizers along the way. Used Johnson Creek juice. When I first got it I loved it but now the honeymoon is over. Since the 901 isn't working as a cigarette replacement for me I've been buying analogs. I'm looking for something with better vapor production, throat hit, battery life etc. Something closer to an analog. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to smoke cigarettes anymore. Thanks in advance.

your most likely going to have to go to a good 3.7 mod like the Chuck thagbuilt.com or a 5 or 6v device for analog like performance, GLV greatlaskesvapor or V2 from puresmokeer are 5v devices.

Longer lasting battys and more satisfying flavor and vape.

901 is fine but if youre using the little batteries its a pain.

I lobe my GLV with 510,901,801 or cartomizers at 5v, ,Chuck at 3.7 with a 510 and V2 with 801 at 5v

If you're still looking for a cigarette-shaped device, you could try a 510. But if you're really looking to step up vapor production, battery life, etc. then you should get a battery mod. High voltage (5v or 6v) gets you excellent vapor and a hit somewhat closer to an analog.

Here's a summary of most of the big-battery models on the market right now.

doots mentioned some much-loved models among users here. As long as you go with one of the quality-built, well-reviewed models (search for names on the forum), you can't go wrong. 6v is 6v. Just choose based on price, features, and the look you want.

I have only one, the Xhaler (from Nhaler.com). It does high-voltage as well as 3.7v depending on the batteries you put in. I like it a lot. The Xhaler comes with 801 and 901 battery connectors in the basic package and you can buy 510 and KR808 adapters at the same time, so I can use four different types of atomizer. This lets you experiment and find which atty you prefer.

If it's not technical performance that ends up bugging you, but you feel like there's something 'missing' from the PVs/nicotine, then you might be missing the other alkaloids in tobacco (like the MAOIs). Check out the Smokeless Tobacco subforum (stuff like snus, dissolvables, and snuff - i.e. spitless, safer and cleaner options, not dip). Supplementing with these things helps some of us keep the cravings away.

The Janty Ego runs a 510 atomiser with great battery life and is enjoying some very good reviews, worth a thought

This is also available from TW as the Tornado.

However, my advice would be to grab a 'Disposable' 510 from MadVapes (as they are only $10) to see if you like the vapor production of the 510. I have heard that the Ego/Tornado has slightly better vapor production than a stock 510. Though I think this might be do more to the vastly improved battery life (ie I think more likely stays at peak production longer than a standard 510 rather than actually producing more vapor, but I havnt tried either so I cannot verify my theory.)
