Tired of people asking me,what is that?

I feel the same way. When I see smokers standing outside their cars smoking, I just want to roll up and show them my PV. I don't mind at all educating people. The more that know and understand what we are doing, the more it will be accepted, IMHO.

Depends on my mood to be honest.Some days Im a fount of information and welcome comments and questions, others not so much so I can definitely understand the feeling.

I was vaping in the yard, taking a break from my chores, and the wife asked me not to do it outside because she though it looked like I was doing [unmentionable forum topic]. I just went in the garage.

I do get a lot of questions from smokers at my work when I vape in the smoking area, but those I don't mind. I'm not very good at proselytizing though so I haven't converted anyone.

I can understand getting tired of explaining to people, especially the ones who won't hear what you have to say. But, if they're a smoker, and spending five minutes of my time can potentially add years to their life, and they can potentially convert others, I feel it's an investment I'm willing to make.

The only time I've had someone I don't know ask me what it is has been at a party. One of my friends always has his annoying hipster/fixie friends show up to parties at his house and they ask. Once I tell them it's an e-cig I usually just get an "oh, cool". Then we end up talking about vaping. I've got other friends that vape so there are usually a few of us at parties.

Although most strangers don't appear to be curious or even notice me vaping on my larger mods in public, my co-workers cracked jokes about my c**ck pipe or hookah pipe at a get together outing.

Over the holidays my smoker relatives were impressed by my 8 months of being smoke free via vaping. One even just got her first PV (a Provari) after seeing mine during Thanksgiving. I spent time with her over Christmas showing her about cartotanks. Another relative is planning on getting a V.V. Gripper soon.

Over a Christmas holiday gathering a friend of my mother-in-law saw my Provari and was amazed there was such a device. I let him vape with it all evening, and I'm pretty sure he's going to be getting his own next month, fully aware of the startup cost of using one with a tank.

My ex even said she wants a pink BB with a big glass drip tip. She said that I am such a good salesman for e-cigarettes that I should become a distributor. Hmmmmm. Maybe I'm in the wrong profession.

I get "the look" all the time. It only bothers me when they assume I'm "smoking other things". Most of the time people tend to be shy about asking about it so I just go ahead and tell them and the conversation rolls from there. I figure the more people that are aware and educated, the sooner it will be accepted.
