TBH I had no idea how to respond. All the people who have seen me Vale have asked if it works. I keep telling them that does work. I no longer smell like an ash tray. I tell people that it's a great way to stop smoking or a better way to smoke. When I tell people I smoke a pack of cigarettes for about 50 cents a pack the people ask me where to g o. I tell them about web sites to buy everything cheap and I let them know about ECF.
This was the first time I have been called white trash. Here I am dressed in a very nice suit, smelling real good and I am called white trash.
Funny thing, I am a supervisor for my department, the person who called me white trash is just a non exempt employee. His boss is a good friend of mine and he vapes too. So I told him what the person said. Let's just say getting wrote up for not following Duke University values is not a good thing.

I've been called worse but not for vaping. You shouldn't pay that much attention to what other people think. I know, it's hard, but don't mind it.
I think some vape setups *can* look trashy with mismatched cheap crappy parts etc. But it's like that with just about everything. I guess it just depends!

This thread reminds me of something someone said to me a while back... I was outside the bar one night, having a vape, and this chick comes up to me and another guy and asks if we thought she was good looking (she wasnt) I was nice about it and said "yeah you're decent, Im sure you could score a guy tonight if you wanted to".
Just then I took a vape off of my 1300 vision spinner/ Vision victory tank and she said, "Oh I see you're smoking one of those ... E-cigs. (... in the derogitory sense, not meaning cigarrette, Im in the U.S.) I looked at her and said "Yeah E-cigs arent cool because cancer and death are just so hot right now" really sarcasticaly. Then I said "Your attraction level just dropped 5 points" and walked away. She said something about "Oh Im sorry I was just kidding" No, she wasnt, and sorry, too late. lol

Probably had no idea that its a PV/e-cig and thought you were smoking an illegal substance. I've had people think that's what I'm doing when using my zmax of egos. Hell, I've been pulled over for it..... -_-
