Aaaaack! (where's the Bill the Cat smiley?)
Mostly just in the mood to ..... here, but really, I can't believe I'm going through 6 batts in a day. Seems to be getting worse -- like I'm always stepping out for a vape, only to have the batty dead after a couple puffs. And constantly cycling my batts through the charger. Yeah, it's only 180mah, and I'm more edumikated about such things now than when I started out, but even so, I read a lot before settling on the 510, and I figured 3 batts would pretty well last me the whole day. Maybe I'm vaping more heavily than I anticipated. Or these batts are just going south way too quickly, i.e. not holding as much charge. But it's been only 7 weeks since I started. Worst case that's 2 charges/day for 49 days -- call it 50 since today's Sunday. That's just 100 cycles, which is more than they actually have, since I was still smoking a bit at first, and the one batt has about 2 weeks less usage. Shouldn't most Lithium batts go for 300 cycles or more?
Whatever.
Anyways, wasn't in my budget to shell out appx $100 for a batt mod, especially not this soon after my startup purchases. Yeah, I know some mods are less than that, but add in a couple extra batts and close enough.
But ... I think I want something around 1000mah. An all-day batty. Kinda sounds like the 900mah eGo isn't quite ready for prime-time. I could take a 650mah eGo to work, and vape my 510 batts at home while it's charging, I guess. Or, kill one of my batts for the connector and make a ghetto mod to use 3 AA NiMH rechargables. That's the cheapest solution I can think of, though I don't know the mah I'd get from those -- but I have some already, and another 4-pack is only about $15.
Or I could get a 14500 batt/charger kit, and thow a mod together, again not too expensive, and probably I can get the batts at the local batteries Plus store.
Anyways, thanks for listening. Any suggestions for something cheap and quick to put together?
Oh, and don't forget to bring me a shrubbery.
