Titan/510 heat

Hi all,
I just got (last week) a TECC Titan /510 and the atomizers seem to get very hot. On Saturday one of the atomizers suddenly got very hot (too hot to hold) and then died.

TECC told me that it could be a problem with the battery and to send both back( a pain since I live in Greece I can expect at least a 3 week turn around) unless the battery is working fine, but since I have three identical batteries and they all seem to get very hot after 2 or 3 pulls I can't identify a failing battery unless all 3 are problematic.

I am wondering is it normal for TECC Tiotan atomizers to get hot during usage? If so how hot (approaximately)? It seems that all three seem to get very hot from time to time, should I send all 3 back or keep all 3?

Any opinions from Titan/510 users?

Atomizers for 510 can get pretty damn hot make sure you are keeping a nice topped off cart in there. The faulty one u want to make sure you send it and battery back and don't hook it to another atomizer.

But I find 510's can get very hot to the touch sometimes that's why they make alot of vapor I assume.

I have a Dura which I think is the same as the 510 pretty much.

are you making sure the cartridge is full and the tip of the cart
is wet when smoking?

a dry atomzer will die very quickly.

if you keep drawing/inhaling it constantly it will get quite warm and
possibly hot, but the juice should keep it from frying its life away.

Yep the 510/Dura's get very hot indeed. I think this is part of their magical properties that makes them so popular. I had a battery that would stick on and nearly burned out my atomizer-it was painful to touch! They key with the 510's is keeping them filled, this keeps the atomizer from getting dry and burning out (as stated above several times )

Keep the atomizer moist by either dripping or topping off the cart. Also, don't constantly hit the atomizer over and over without giving the atomizer a rest.

That metal tube gets hot but never too hot to touch with my hands.

So the average temperature is normally high. that's what i thought. I will send only the atomizer back now and if I have further problems I'll send all the batteries back (since they all seem to get hot).

Some say dripping kills atty's, I disagree, many (including me) believe dripping helps with there life span. It keeps the atty moist and keeps it from burning itself. I'm on the same atty for a month now and it works just as good as the day I got it. I'm constantly dripping it, even when not vaping I'll put a drop in there an stand it up on a dresser or table.


EDIT: Forgot to mention I also never let my Atty get to the point to where I can taste it burning, I'll drip it 4-5, take 3-4 nice pulls then drip again before the juice is completely gone. It's all common sense if you ask me.

yeah my titan gets really hot as well, like everyone's saying keep it moist or drip often and give it a little rest when it heats up. i havent burned out an atty yet but when i got my second starter kit (first one was sold) my attys popped and crackled before they broke in, not sure if thats normal but both attys are working fine now.
