hi mate,

no, there should not be a gap! the cart should just click nicely into place.

does it feel like you would need to use a lot of force to put the cartridge fully in place? try a different cart and see if it makes any difference.

if not, then i would advise to send customer sevices an email.

cheers,

scott
Yes a lot of force and still there is a gap between the atomizer and cartridge and i opened all 5 boxes and still the same, i just sent Jason an email.

No, there shouldn't be a gap. The cartridge should just click down snugly. I had to return my atomiser and cartridges for replacement by Totally Wicked because they simply wouldn't fit. It should fit without any force.

I don't know whether I had a badly machined atomiser or what, but the cartridge on the original wouldn't fit even when forcing it quite a bit.
And there is the problem i was sent 2 atomizers and 1 is bad i put the 2nd 1 in and it snapped in, so i guess they should send me a new atomizer.

Yes, they should. It seems to be a known problem. I found quite a few postings on Totally Wicked's forum about this. Both mine were faulty and were replaced with no further problem.

Enjoy your working atomiser while waiting on your replacement. :)

Just got mine in today... one of the batteries and one atomizer were DOA.
The carts that came with them were nice actually... not really a tobacco flavor... but decent. The thing puts out a huge blast of vapor... just incredible... but at the end of a full day here... ehhh... it puts out about as much as a RN4080 on a good day. Nice throat hit... for the most part the battery is lasting around 3 hrs... I just hope customer service is nice to me when i send that battery and atomizer back.

im very surprised you wasnt too impressed with the vapour! i find the titan the biggest vapour producer i have ever come across!!

if anything, because of the extra heat the titan produces i find it a bit too much as flavours dont tend to come out quite as strong in taste when compared to less powerfull e-cigs.

Hi guys, The Dura/510 atomizers I have had an issue with a burr around the cart hole making it hard to fit, even shaving some plastic when you press it together. Take a knife and smooth/remove the burr and you're good to go. Just be careful and don't stick it in far enough to hit the atomizer bridge.

In regards to taste, The 510 tastes better then any other I have tried. (To me)

this review has been very helpful. I'm pretty much sold on the Titan at this point, but...

1) I'm new to this "vaping" and could use some advice. Girlfriend and I are 18 & 19 and aren't willing to spend large initial investment, what would be a good starter e cig? (durability, maintenance, price, etc...)

2) Overwhelmed is an understatement, hah. The only supplier known to me was "SmokingEverywhere", as that's the supplier at my local mall. I'm in shock & awe right now.

SO, background... we smoke about a pack a day each and have both tried to quit many times, but give in within 2 days to a week. Trying to save money and health =)

Sounds like you are spending $200 or more per month on regular cigs now, so an equal investment should set you up for a while in e-cigs. For the 510 in the US try a look at Electronicstix.com Jason is a good guy.

Welcome to the forum.

I second the vote for Jason. He's a great supplier! I love my 510's

Thanks alot :)

Girlfriend and I are going to do our research (I've done mine... she's a slacker, hah) and order tomorrow most likely. We've been talking about them and have both told people we work with... funny stuff. A few people I work with want to see mine and possibly buy one if they like it. Everyone in the restaurant industry smokes!

SO...
510 > Titan?
I need a good newbie e-cig!

As soon as I posted and clicked the other tab to my titan website, I realized the 510 IS the titan.

i rock.

Hey All,..... My first time post! I rarely register to these sort of forums but I'm way too excited to get my first e-cig.... well I've ordered two now! The first should be arriving coming tuesday. Bought it cuz it was a cheaper one and more realistic looking but then realized that the battery life (only comes with one batt) would be real short and quite inconvenient. I bought this model called "USB84 Super Mini" from a cdn site ecigarettescanada.
Is this decent?
The second I know I will love..... TITAN from scott's videos from TECC uk shop. Got the PCC, extra batts (manual batts for windy days), extra atomizers the whole bit.

I'm sure I'll update you all once I get it.
Cheers
Charles

I have been waiting for pay day...and now it's here, I have ordered my 510 from TECC plus 20 carts. I have wanted one for a while now, but with all I have spent and the credit crunch, blah blah, I have patiently waited. My 401/02s aren't terribly consistent and the 901s the same these days (have had the 901s since October!!!), although I would say the 901 is excellent, apart from batt life. I hope the 510 is as good as they were in the beginning.
I hope it comes very soon.

Hi Scott,
Like most others, I am still around, but tend to just read posts these days. I have a problem at times with how the forum is clogged up with junk, that somehow irritates me.
I have been reading every post about the 510/Titan avidly. I just want one. I want to find out for myself if all that has been said is really true (not that I don't believe all that you and others have said, but I'm sure you know how it is)

I don't know i am ready to change companies, as my TITAN the atomizer kept the battery going after taking a few drags and noticed it when my pocket started getting really hot, the battery got fried, i put a new atomizer on and now i have 1 battery but the new atomizer isn't working good, and 2 months ago i bought their super ecig and that doesn't work good, bottom line i am sick of sending things back to be changed, so i think i am going to try out e-cigs.co.uk and see what happens there.
