My preferred Ti builds on the Velocity deck are spaced 6.5 wrap 24g @ ~3.5mm or spaced 4.5 wrap 22g @ ~3.5mm (for gunky, max VG NETs). #10-24 machine screws will build spaced Ti coils @ ~3.5mm. Though I do not have one, the Goblin Mini looks as if will fit a ~3.5mm coil. If not, then you can either build a ~3.25mm coil with an #8-32 machine screw or a ~2.5mm coil with a #6-32.

Titanium is awesome. I have dual titanium coils in my Goblin mini. 26 gauge, 7 wraps, 2mm inner diameter. It comes out to 0.12 ohm, works nicely on my VTC mini at 240C (465F?) with 50/50 juice.

You don't need to space titanium like you do nickel, but also it seems easier to avoid hotspots if it's not tightly compressed. So loose even wraps, if you get what I mean.

Avoid dry firing it glowing red. You can pulse it a bit @ 6W then check consistancy of resistance.

Then to check temperature control function: put a spare strip of cotton in the coil, set your mod to 220C/430F and pulse the mod. If the temperature control is working correctly, the cotton should slightly yellow but not burn. If you are satisfied, replace the test cotton with your actual wick.

One last thing: titanium seems a little more brittle than kanthal. So sharp post screws can break it. Get a piece of 240 grit sandpaper and try to file down any sharp edges of your post screws.

In my understanding, building spaced coils for temperature control mods is usually best. I just have this mental message that tells me this. When using spaced coils, I also get gigantic vapor production. I believe due to having spaced coils, the surface area available for the juice to travel is greater and easier to get to the coil. Also, non-spaced coils would be just like heating up the wicking material in the realm of temperature control, which is not how it's supposed to work.
