the main reason is that titanium is not suitable for our applications Lord. Oxide that will occure will reduce or stop the contactivity of any e-cig.

I actually have a Titanium APV (Titanium Zenesis Standard), and the oxides do not prevent the flow of electricity at all. It has been working perfectly with no issues at all.

I guess I'm confused about the discussion. SS works, works well, is reasonably priced, and holds up well for daily use. Besides being lighter and more expensive, why make one out of titanium? I don't see the cost to benefit ratio that makes sense.....what am I missing?

There is no cost to benefit ratio. Some people just like Titanium stuff and like I said, it would be at a large premium if it were made because I cannot see that many people wanting to pay the extra to get a Ti model.

I got a Ti Zenesis Standard because I wanted a Ti APV. Not many others have them because there were only 25 made. I can say this though. It works very well and doesn't require as much thread cleaning and maintenance as my SS model does. :)

I am glad buddy. I hope things will go well for you:)

I hope you are doing well also. I have been using a different anti-corrosion compound called NO-OX-ID. It has been proving to be an even better compound than No-Alox. Time will tell of course, but so far it is amazing stuff.

It's been around for a long time and is used by the electric companies here in the US to keep their contact points corrosion free in bad weather and to keep the connections water proof.

No need for a Ti GGTS imho, I love the weight of the SS and it's damn near indestructible, my work one has been to hell and back, it's even been dropped from staggering heights onto rocks and even the ceramic in the Ody didn't break. In fact the only part I've "had" to replace due to damage was the brass bottom cap, even then it still worked but had taken such a high impact there's no longer any vent holes lol.
I used to have connectivity issues when kicked unless it was completely cleaned daily due to metal filings and dust getting into threads, noalox was a disaster just gumming everything up to the point where a telescopic section was badly marked up due to tools having to be used (it seized completely), fortunately I tried some Deoxit gold contact conditioner and enhancer which has the consistency of light machine oil and doesn't attract dust and grit, it's wonderful stuff that outperforms noalox in every way, I only clean my SS GGTS weekly now and it's never been close to seizing up again.
