Hello, I am using 26g Grade 1 titanium wire 10 wraps each dual coil that comes out to 0.20 ohms. I made contact coils and pulsed them in a very dark room on 10 watts to get the hot spots out. It never got brighter than a dull red just enough that I could see the spots. I've noticed some other posts where the color is a lot brighter blue and there is no violet color. Do different brands or the finish of the titanium wire make a difference? Mine has a darker blue/violet color. It works great on temp control though.
