I didn't mean to spark a debate. My earlier post was my first in this thread and only about my 8th on ecf. I've been 'lurking' and reading this thread for 30 or 45 days. I found ecf, and Killer Juice, while searching for high-quality, budget-friendly e-juice.
What attracted me to Killer Juice was the positive feedback on the flavors, terrific prices, and Walt's commitment to customer satisfaction. Anyone who has been following the thread should know he cares very deeply about his customers and their enjoyment of his products. He's very quick to respond to concerns and has both created new blends and reformulated flavors as a result of feedback he's received here. I take hiring someone to test the flavors with different setups and document what works best as a positive sign that Walt wants his products to be enjoyable for EVERYONE, from the most basic to the most advanced user. If you're having problems, PM Walt and I'm sure he'll do his best to resolve your concerns.
I am NOT a mod guy and am using a pretty basic setup myself - a Vision Spinner vv battery with iClear 16, iClear 30s, or Protank 2 clearomizer. When I try a new flavor or vendor, I experiment through the range of the voltage settings to see what works best. I vape almost every juice at 4.0 volts or lower, so I'm not that far off the output of a basic battery. I find when I get much higher than 4.3 volts that I get sort of a burned taste - whether it's from the flavorings or from the wicks, I don't know. In fact, I've been wondering how 'mod guys' can run high voltages/wattages and still enjoy the flavors.
I've tried about 10-12 different flavors from Killer Juice so far, and all work well in the lower voltage range. Most of the time, the white chocolate tobacco is good in this range as well. When I do get the occasional hint of pepper flavor from that flavor, I turn the spinner up to about 4.3 - 4.8 and the pepper flavor goes away.
At any rate, Killer Juice offers a wide variety of flavors including several other tobacco blends. With that variety on the menu and such a wide range of individual tastes (ahem, Moose Liver and Onions?, Chicken and Waffles?), even if the white chocolate tobacco doesn't work for you, you should be able to find flavors that do.
