TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the public health law, in relation to the definition of "electronic cigarette" or "e-cigarette"; and to amend the general business law, in relation to prohibiting the provision of any quantity of an electronic liquid

PURPOSE:

Prohibits the sale of e-liquids within the State of New York.

SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:

Section one of this bill amends section 1399-aa of the Public Health Law regarding the definition of "electronic cigarette" or "ecigarette" to mean a battery operated device that contains cartridges or liquids filled with a combination of nicotine and chemicals.

Section two of this bill adds section 391-t to the General Business Law, which will prohibit the sale, offer to sell, or giving away of electronic liquids or e-liquids by any company or entity.

This section also states, any entity that sells, offers to sells, or gives away any quantity of electronic liquids will be subject to a penalty of no more than $500.00 per violation recoverable in an action by an enforcement authority designated by a municipality or political subdivision.

Section two also defines "electronic liquids" or "e-liquids" as a liquid composed of nicotine and other chemicals, which is sold as a product that may be used in electronic cigarettes.

Section three of this bill has this act taking effect 90 days after it becomes law.

I have been following this super close. You will be able to still buy 0mg bottles but if you want to add nicotine you will have to add your own. Or the other option is to DIY, this is sorta why we are adding that new section to our site.

From the updated bill:

inhaled by the user.

FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, "ELECTRONIC LIQUID" OR "E-LIQUID"
MEANS A LIQUID COMPOSED OF NICOTINE AND OTHER CHEMICALS, AND WHICH IS
SOLD AS A PRODUCT THAT MAY BE USED IN AN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE, AS
DEFINED BY SUBDIVISION THIRTEEN OF SECTION THIRTEEN HUNDRED
NINETY-NINE-AA OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH LAW.

Liquid nicotine bases are used in other manufacturing applications so they can not ban nicotine alone. The term "other chemicals" is very loose and is expected to be changed. Also it says it can not be advertised as a product that can be turned in to a vapor...

So... step right up and buy our new tobacco sprays, turn your boring cigarette tobacco in to fun flavorful tobacco (not for vapor use)
That above statement is a joke but that is how easily you can get around that law, even if I doubt it will pass we got your back!

They will find a compromise once they figure out how much to tax things, how to make sure 100% of the product chain gets taxed what to waste, oops I mean use, the tax revenue on once it begins to come in.
They always use the public health and other family friendly scare tactics but in reality it's all about the Benjamin's, Lincoln's , Washington's and any other dead dude on a piece of currency you care to name.

... I filled a tank and the room began to smell like fudge, the taste was brownie batter, the room scent from exhale was baking brownies.

I stealth vape in my office at work and have been doing a Fudge Brownie from another juice vendor (sorry! this is why I'm trying Walts version!). Everyone who walks into my office makes a comment that my office smells like a bakery... cookies... chocolate, etc... it's kind of funny.. I keep a non-functional wicking air freshener sitting on a shelf in the back of my office and just blame it on that... lol....

My company is great, but when they updated their smoking policy a few years ago, they just did a blanket statement on smoking of all kinds, including electronics... so ridiculous... but I'm sure it didn't help that some of the people I turned onto e-cigs after I started were ... dumbasses and started vaping them while on the production floor... since we are producing FDA approved products, that's a big no-no...

Just ordered 15 flavors! How long does KJ recommend steeping their juice?

Try them when you first get them and see what you think. KJ uses a sonic shaker on most if not all their juices and that either reduces or does away with the need to steep.

Excited to hear that about the brownie.. just converted a good friend to vaping two days ago.. last night I told her about the sale of walts.. she was excited about the brownie & the red velvet.. she loves cream cheese icing & I knew it was heavy on that.. ended up getting mt dew for her & bought me one too. Shes excited & I am too.. haven't tried walts dew & hear its good.

The Red Velvet is honestly too much for me. I hope that the flavor dies down a bunch with aging. It's too pungent.

I guess that is what I am getting from it too... pungent... that works. Will give it another try in a week and see how it is. But will also add Key Lime Pie to my next order.

Killer Juice has become my favorite vendor! I haven't come across anything that I don't like yet and there are some that I just love. Shamrock Shake is my favorite so far. I was afraid of the grape because I wasn't getting hardly any smell from it and this was after 2 weeks of steeping. I decided to go ahead and try it last night and it's pretty good. It's mild and I like my flavors strong but it's still good. The chocolate brownie is really good and I've got chocolate milkshake in a clearomizer to vape in a few minutes. Then I'm going to try the custard next. I can't wait to try the pizza. I've got one from another vendor but it's really weak. I'm really looking forward to getting my new order!

i know its on here some were but wanted to ask if you don't mind telling, what do you use to get your cream base flavors since all the issue with people using toxic or known alternate base to give the flavor. I am about to place a good sized sample order and was wanting to know before I added any cream/custard style flavors to it. Thanks

That's why I ate the candy before my son came over!

But my son is 23 years old. I ordered him Baja Blast (60ml) and Hawaiian Punch, so he was super happy. Baja Blast is his all time favorite flavor. Also he has been looking for the perfect Hawaiian Punch. He smelled the Killer Juice bottle and said, "This smells perfect! Just like it should."
