Walt:
Do you remember BobLo Island? I am not a sweet eater, but as a kid I used to love to get a cup of custard each summer when visiting BobLo Island. (See, I was still a little weird as a child because I would be the only child who did not like the taste of cones, the custard could only be enjoyed in a cup...:))

Cromeus:
I may want one too...seriously...I researched the Valkyrie clone last night before I went to bed. Much cheaper than my dna and I can get two. I just want to hear your thoughts when you get them. Also, I am waiting for the dna china clone. It's supposed to be introduced soon.

My grandparents used to spoil my brother and I. In the summer we must have went to BobLo Island at least 2 or 3 times. I just enjoyed the boat ride and going down and seeing the huge engines. :p

I was out there a few years ago and seen some of the old buildings and some of the things there that were still left. I do remember the custard from there. I will try to tweak mine to make is closer. I do remember a super strong flavor.

Just looked at pictures on the web of the abandoned BobLo Island, it was kinda sad because you have to shift your mind to remember standing in places like the observation tower or riding the roller coaster that lined the shore as we approached by boat. Times were simpler then...Yes, the custard was real strong, and it was thick...not like this McDonald's crap that's out there now. It was a real desert, not just a thick milkshake quality custard. You could taste the heavy sweet cream with a buttery smooth taste...extremely nice. Didn't even melt watery like the stuff sold now.

Yeah, you know what I am talking about Walt. I will definitely get your custard version when available.

I think I've confused you - the Valkyrie is a hybrid, which is a mechanical mod where the battery unit and the atomizer unit are one piece

Man I miss boblo island! Reading this thread today just brought back a bunch of memories :)

Tapatalked from my LG-G2

Sorta cool that there are paths and you can walk around out there. They say you can should not touch or walk in to anything thing due to the decay but we still did :p

To people who do not know Boblo Island was an amusement park on an island between Detroit MI and Windsor, ONT. Closed I think in 1993.

Walt you just need a cheap rba and need to learn to build microcoils. Its super easy, then all you have to do is swap cotton, and rinse it out / dry burn the coil to change flavors.

That plus an MvP 2 is all you really need. Grab some 28 and 30g kanthal and some sterile cotton balls and your set! Don't mess with dual coils until your comfortable (I prefer single anyway myself) and as long as your around 1.2 - 1.5 ohm on your coil (the MVP will tell you) your set to rapidly taste/swap flavors.

Not to mention dripping gives you some of the best flavor possible. Much better than clearomizers.

Yup this would work good for him !!!

Does anyone else have a super sensitive tongue to the perfumey flavors of other brands? I really wanna try these but can not waste any more money on rubbing alcohol or perfume (and no steeping didn't help them)

I will tell you that there are no perfumes added to our mixes. These are raw flavors, no alcohol, no sugar, and no perfumes or dyes.
We do have that Facebook promo going if you want to order 1 bottle and give it a try. The fruit flavors are the purest on the market in my eyes.

Did the Facebook promo and added 2 bottles, thanks for the great deals! I'm not a fruit fan so far but if I like these three I'll definitely be coming back! My fingers are crossed, I really really am excited you use natural flavoring so hopefully this will be it for me

Word of advice, add more flavor descriptions. A lot of flavors didn't describe anything. Other than that, thanks again for the great prices and quick response!

Nope...I looked it up...although I do not wish to break my pattern and leave the internal battery family of mods, I will if the external battery option is convenient. I heard and understood what you said about the "one stop shopping" quality of the Valkyrie so I looked up the reviews last night. Since you ordered a clone version - which I would prefer due to the costs - I am anxious to hear your take on the mod once you have had the opportunity to test it out. See, I was listening AND paying attention! :)

A 510 bridged or unbridged style (like the HH.357, but cheaper) are the way to go for mass testing. They're ~$5-6 a pop and clean up easier than anything else. One minute rinse, and the dry burn till dry.

For example: Empiremods Bridge Free LR510 1.5ohm

cg

Those will keep burning out with dry burning unfortunately, with the volume of testing walt would be doing.

A cheap $8 igo-s is perfect.

Yep...I know what your talking about and I hate it. I am real sensitive to it and it is why I include that in my online ejuice reviews. Nothing worse than someone recommending a perfumey liquid as the best liquid ever.....

On the flip side, I have had several from EC Blends that start out awful and then after two months or so properly steeped, the perfumey taste subsides and I can taste the flavor of the liquid. My problem is who has time to wait that long. Really?

I can guarantee you that my liquids from Walt have no perfumey aftertaste. They are vapable day 1.
