Walt. My cream soda smells amazing....but taste really weird. Almost burnt. Brand new coil. My asst said it smells like cream soda when I blow it in her face but even she said it has a burnt taste. Any tips?

Sorry to jump in here but just trying to help....When you use a new coil do you drip a couple of drops of new juice to be used on each wick before installing the new coil ? It helps ,just get the wick "soaked " and let it set 2-5 minuets before putting it in you tank . May not be your issue but helps eliminate a accidental burn .

If it's happening to both juices it may be a bad new coil.

So Cromeus had an idea.

He wants me to age the Tobacco flavoring and mix in a Oak barrel.

I would be in for a couple of these.

ECF member Muggs is currently experimenting with this process, he has had his reserve in an oak barrel for a week and it seems to be going well.

A lot of us noticed it on the soda flavors. Try a higher resistance coil or if you have a vv dial the voltage down

Here is what I just ordered:

4x Bluegrass Barrels
Each Bluegrass Barrel is made from American white oak with a medium char

2x Whiskey Barrel Oak Chips Light Toast
Whiskey barrel oak chips are light in color with a strong whiskey aroma. They will provide a whiskey and oak flavor.

I am going to do 2 with the whiskey chips and 2 without.
Can't wait to see the results. Each barrel will only make about 70 bottles (after adding in the nicotine) So these will be extremely limited.

Id suggest extracting your own tobacco to use in these

See if you can't get your wattage down to about 5 watts.
Use the link I've posted to do the math to know what to set your system at
I don't know what setup you're using so I'd suggest try changing your voltage and do the math with your coil ohms as the resistance number in the Calculate Wattage formula. It made a huge difference in my Vanilla Coke by lowering my volts to get my watts closer to 5.

That's why I love my MVP 2 just directly dial the watts.

I've noticed that issue with Alot of companies cola flavors. Not sure why it happens but he is right right around 5watts burnt taste goes away

It might've been you that taught me that. I know I learned it on this forum somewhere and it works.
Does your mvp go below 6 watts in vw mode? I've got go to vv mode and do the math for anything below 6 watts on my itaste 3.0. It's no biggie since I've also got 2 eGo twist batteries that I manipulate that way.

Anybody else tried the apple? It's pretty good, definitely red apple and not green, and goes great mixed with the ripe strawberry. Bet it'd go great in a pie flavor.

This was the road to my son's school. That is not traffic, those are abandoned or wrecked vehicles. They kept my son on all night. 4,500 students were stranded. It was awful.

He is home now and fine. Thanks for everyone's concern.

I'm glad to hear you got him back safely. My sister in law is a school teacher in Oak Grove and she just barely made it out of there around 4 yesterday. She was lucky. Many others had to stay the night at school like your son.
